So glad you are back. I am sorry the learn of your niece and nephew’s cancer diagnosis. I am a retired cancer care research nurse. I finally had a chance to watch your video. My Heart goes out to you and your family. The cancer journey is never an easy one. My daughter was diagnosed with cancer 8 years ago a the young age of 22. I am thankful she is a “survivor” but we understand what families go through during their journey. Because of her cancer journey we have be able to start a cancer foundation “The Hand I Was Dealt” to help cancer patients and their families in Northern Minnesota. Since 2014 when we started our foundation and became non profit, we have helped close to 100 families with their travel needs during their cancer journeys. From our family to yours, we send hugs love prayers and strength. I immediately went to your shop and purchased the pattern fiber and fabric.....glad to be a part of your fundraiser for your family.

I had already looked up Scuppernong when I got that thread...what a funny name for grapes. I love Souvenirs of Summer and Strawberries and stripes. Love all your new designs. Praying for your family. 🙏🏻
I think Scuppernong is something to do with a vineyard. Prairie Village, Ye Old Crow, and Autumn Sampler are my favorites. Thank you for another great podcast, I love seeing your stitching and being inspired to start a few new ones. Everything you do is perfection❤️
I purchased Gathering Berries pdf. I cannot wait to order thread and stitch it. Your video was amazing. I have not been here in awhile. I will be back. Being from North Carolina and we have the Scuppernong River....I know it is a grape. Truly love stitching Gathering Berries and very much looking forward to the "Gathering" series. Strawberries and Stripes, Prairie Village or Autumn Samplers would be great. Blessing to you and your family.
So good to see you again Misty! I missed you. Away We Ride is spectacular and I would leave it up all year too! 😂. I think Scuppernong is an ancient alcoholic beverage from medieval times. I don’t have many accessories but I guess project bags are my most important ones. Autumn Samplers, Prairie Village, Ye Old Crow, and Souvenirs of Summer please... and thank you! ♥️
Hugs to you and your family. I have a culinary degree, so I know scuppernongs are grapes...green,I think. Makes good jelly! I love the Prairie Villages, and The Old Crow. I found a Prairie Schooler card #15, from my mothers stash. I love stitching buildings!
Good to see you again. Will be praying for your nephew... it is a hard thing.💙 The Redwork piece you designed is lovely and I love the Christmas piece you redid in the green frame! It is absolutely perfect.💕 I always enjoy your videos. Thanks for taking the time.
Thank you so much for the shoutout Misty! I've been watching your videos for a couple of years now and love them! (probably because I always want to stitch everything you're working on, I definitely have fallen down a french cross stitch design hole after one of your videos!)
You are on the home stretch on Button Up! The boarder on Away We Ride is crazy but it is one of the favorite things I’ve stitched. Have a great week. Stay cool.
As always, enjoyed your video, Misty. And was compelled to buy the Gathering Berries❤️ It’s darling and I’m honored to aid you in helping your family. Thanks for that!😉 I hope to stitch it soon. Take care.
Scuppernong sounds like an ale that ships' captains would drink when they came into port. I think the Prairie Schooler Village would be a wonderfully large stitch as I love building designs. Your "Gathering Berries" is beautiful and has been added to my purchase list. Yesterday I received "Away We Ride" and am very excited to get started. Hopefully I can plow through that border. Thank you for sharing your talent with us!
Such an admirable thing you are doing for your nephew (prayers for you and the family) and I need to get out to your shop and get that purchased! Love your new releases. Schuppernong sounds like a spicy pub drink! I love anything Fall or Autumn so Autumn Samplers would be my favorite! Happy stitching Misty! :)

Great video! I love your new charts as well as your older ones; your patriotic finish is adorable. I always enjoy your videos and the content and humor they contain. Happy stitching............
Misty, your patriotic finish is fabulous! Love your Away We Ride finish (still working on mine). The Ye Old Crow and the Autumn Samplers patterns are perfect projects for fall. Have a great weekend.
Great to see your video pop up, your finishing is really great! Autumn Samplers & Prairie Village speak time me 😊 Don’t I have a scuppernong growing in my yard! Take care, happy stitching!
Gathering Berries is beautiful. Such sweet sentiment to be reaching out (how you can) in your family member's time of need. It sounds as though they may be a distance from you. A lovely design... (I just ordered it).....and I am looking forward to the rest in the series. Virtual hugs and prayers for your family member.
Fanci That is so fun. Love the Prairie Village. Autumn Samplers might be my favorite. Strawberries and Stripes is really cute. Scuppernong sounds like a type of ship.
Thinking of your nephew and family. Scuggernong is a type of fungus found deep in the rainforest. I adore all accessories, Fanci That, Prairie Village, Autumn Sampler, Ye Old Crow Sampler, Souvenirs of Summer and Strawberries Stripes.
Love your beautiful finishes, Misty! I’m so sorry about your nephew. Your design is wonderful and I look forward to stitching mine up soon. I hope the treatments he is going through will bring relief and hope soon.
Love your finishes and charts. Great video! I like the prairie village charts, autumn samplers, ye old crow sampler, souvenirs of summer, strawberries & stripes. Thank you so much. I think Scoppernong is a type of grape.
Welcome back... so much stuff to buy!!!!...i think scuppernong is a beer...and i love your finish and would like to stitch strawberries and stripes....thanks for the stitching company and more enabling..lol...Cheers!
Schuppernong is a grape like fruit. I love accessories, Prairie Village, WTNT and Strawberries and Stripes. Thank you so much and i loved your round finish. Its fabulous!
Scuppernong sounds like the name of a fairy tale figure, like a little gnome or elf 😄 I really like the Prairie Village houses, I have the town church pattern from Prairie Schooler, very cute. Glad to see you back again, sending my prayers and thoughts to you and your family. 🙏🏼❤️
So good to see you! I love your gathering berries even without knowing it is to help you nephew. I will be buying that today. Also, sending prayers and good thoughts. All of your pieces are awesome as always. I think that green floss is name is another name for swamp. Lol. I love the prairie schooler villages and the autumn samplers. Be well and safe. Happy stitching!
Just ordered your beautiful Gathering Berries pattern. So glad to help such a worthwhile cause. Sending love, hugs and prayers to you and your family.❤️
Praying for your nephew. What a sweet gesture with your design. It's very pretty and I'm headed to your shop right away! Scuppernong is a grape. Maybe a southern thing? I live in Georgia and pretty sure they grow wild around here. Thank you, birds. I would love to stitch Prairie Village or Autumn Samplers. Thanks for keeping me company while I stitch!
So glad to open TH-cam up and see a new video from you. I have missed you! Love seeing all of your WIPS and your finishes! They are beautiful. My son battled stage 4 cancer twice starting at age 18, in his first year of college. Every bit helps with donations and gift cards...it truly does. Well, FANCY THAT, I love all of your giveaways! I love Heart In Hand designs and would love Ye Old Crow. The Prairie Village is so cute too! I love the Strawberries and Stripes and I would have to add accessories to it with some of my button stash. Some strawberry buttons would be the perfect accessory for sure! Scuppernong is a type of grape. It can be green or a bronze color I do believe. I only know this because of going on a winery tour in Georgia.
I hadn't heard of a scuppernong before. It made me think of a dugong, and manatees. I would love the Prarie Villages (1) and Autumn Sampler (2). Your new design is stunning, I love round birds and monochromatic designs, and was touched to hear that it is a charity stitch. I hope you and your family are ok, and look forward to purchasing the design to support you all soon.
I'm a lover of redwork stitchery so will be getting your sweet fundraiser design. Sending prayers for your nephew's recovery and strength for his parents. Your patriotic finishes are charming! Love those rustic flags. I do know what Scuppernong is only because I read about it in a book years ago & looked it up: It's a type of grape that grows in the south, also known as muscadine, used for wine making, jelly, eaten raw. Similar to a green grape but larger.
I love your designs & your WIPs. congratulations on completing Away We Ride. I like the Ye Olde Crow. Scuppernong is a type of grape. When I was a kid our neighbors grew Scuppernong grapes.
So much to comment on! I am sorry your niece and nephew are going through such a rough time. I have been thinking of them often. I just realized I forgot that chart to show for my haul in the last flosstube I did. I will have to remedy that in the next one! Your patriotic finish is awesome! Wow! I love it! Away We Ride is gorgeous! Can't wait to see it framed. I should know what scuppernong is because I thought I looked it up one time... but I can't remember! Senior moment! My guess is it has something to do with the algae in a pond. I always used to say my daughter came with a lot of accessories to her husband. I love your cat design. Now I will have to get that magazine, too. I would love to stitch Autumn Samplers, Ye old Crow or strawberries and stripes. I hope you have a most wonderful week ahead. 💜 - Connie
Gathering Berries is fabulous, had to stop the video to order. I bought the Halloween magazine for your pumpkin kitty chart, I cant wait to start both projects! Keeping your niece/nephew in my thoughts and prayers. Take care
Hi Misty, i would like to say you are awesome! You are blessed with an awesome gift; design, stitching, crochet, and i believe U also mentioned quilting. I am very new to cross stitch... i have been watching some Floss Tubers... i am getting ready to dive in... have some time while i rehab...Thank you for sharing your story and keep the faith💕
Hi Misty. I really enjoy listening to your thought process while designing a chart. A scuppernong is a variety of grapes. I mainly know this from teaching To Kill a Mockingbird, but it is also what my grandparents would call the grapes in their backyard. Have a great day.
I'm new to your Flosstube...but had seen your Gathering Berries on another site and loved it....so I bought it today, however not just because it is a fundraiser, but because I really do like it a lot! I am so sorry about your nephew and will also be praying for a positive outcome.
So nice to see a video from you! Sending prayers and good thoughts to your niece and nephew. Love everything you're stitching and your new designs. I'm planning a dough bowl full of small red pillows, with Gathering Berries right in the middle. Happy stitching!
Hi Misty. Sorry to hear about yr family. I feel for u hun. Lovely idea of selling yr chart to help them. A lovely idea. I will be purchasing that chart. So pretty. Anyway love all yr crafting and yr designing is fabulous. Fancy that I love the prairie village, autumn samplers, heart in hand, sovereigns of summer. A scuppernong is an ladle of some kind from the past maybe. It will be interesting to find out what it is. Anyway lovely lady, take care, have a great week, and catch u again soon. Xxxx
First thing that came to my mind for Scuppernong was something you would find in a river. I recently started watching your channel and I love it. I would love to stitch Prairie Village or With Thy Needle and Thread. I can't wait to learn what a Scuppernong is.
So happy to watch your video and find out about the fundraiser! Off to your web site now. Lucky family to have you in it! Love those new releases and your fantastic patriotic bin! Happy summer stitching!
Scuppernong , maybe a type of green apple? I love the prairie schooler houses and I like to add accessories to cross stitch! So will be purchasing your sweet pattern that will help your nephew and niece. Life can be so very good and it can be so very hard. ❤️ Thank you for sharing ❤️
Always a pleasure to see your videos! I am so very sorry about your nephew and am praying for him and your niece and you. It is so difficult when people we love are ill. I love your patriotic finish and of course your Halloween piece in Just Cross stitch (which I picked up yesterday!). Take good care and happy stitching!
Scissors are always my Accessories, Fanci That, Prairie Village, Autumn Sampler, Ya Old Crow Sampler, Souvenirs of Summer, Strawberries Stripes....So, I have had Scuppernong Wine and I know I saw some jam and jelly where I had the wine...so I would think it is a Berry of some kind....thanks great video...
Congratulations! You won Strawberries and Stripes! Please send an email to misty@luminousfiberarts.com mentioning Strawberries and Stripes along with your mailing info!
Just found your flosstube and really enjoyed. I purchased the berries pattern and am looking forward to starting it. Sending up prayers for your niece and nephew. A schuppernog is a type of grape I think. I would love to stitch Ye Old Crow, Heart and Hand or Prairie Schooler.
So good to see you back, Misty. Loved seeing all of your new designs. I like that Halloween one so much, I went and ordered the magazine! Beautiful patriotic finish too!
I’m so very sad to hear about your nephew. I ordered the pattern right away. I loved it so much as I do everything you create. I hope your niece has loving support to help guide her thru this very hard time. I will keep them in my prayers. Love is the very best medicine.
Thank you, Kathy. Your prayers are much appreciated. Thankfully, my niece has a really good support system where she lives, which is very comforting to me.
Fancy That, I really love Ye Old Crow and Shuppernong, my favorite drink. (Smile) I also love your videos and patterns. Sending well wishes and lots of virtual hugs for your nephew.
Ye Olde Crow! ❤️ scuppernong sounds like an Australian weed🤪. I love your Gathering design, going in my cart tonight. May you and your family be blessed during this difficult time.
I like charm accessories. That is amazing you found Prairie Village. I would also like the with thy needle and thread souvenirs of summer. Thank you so much. I had no idea until people knew what the floss was.
Beautiful finish on the "Strawberries and Stripes" and I love your new starts. :-) So many wonderful gifts you are offering!!! Scuppernong is a type of grape. I grew up eating them off vines at my grandmother's house. Love Ye Old Crow, Fanci That, Strawberries & Stripes, Autumn, and Prairie Sampler Village. Thank you and congratulations on 5,000+. :-)
I’ve seen the color scuppernong thread and thought it had something to do with boats. I love your rosette finish. I can see making them with all sorts of holiday themed paper. Using bamboo skewers to hold them up. I’m interested in accessories always, it makes everything more fun. Also autumn samplers, ye old crow and strawberry stripes.
accessories that I like are the thread keeps, prairie village, autumn samplers, heart in hand, with thy needle in thread - summer. Congratulation to reach the 5.000 subscribers . Love your finishing options. is thread color a plant
Prayers for your nephew. Scuppermong is a green slimy creature from northern Ireland!?! I would like to stitch Ye Old Crow, Souvenirs of Summer, Strawberries & Stripes, or Autumn Samplers. I can always use new accessories so planning on taking a look see. Thanks for sharing and happy stitching!
Hi Misty. I was so glad to see your video up. When I see you have a video up, I quickly have to watch you!!! I love everything that you showed today. Congrats for finishing your Blackbird Designs, Away we ride. How exciting! I would love to win either of the With Thy Needle and Threads patterns. I am praying for your Niece's husband. Take care, Misty. PS. I am in love with your new designs!
Congratulations on getting a design in the Halloween issue, I can’t wait to get my copy in the mail. I’m excited you’re going to do a series of the birds, haven’t started on Gathering Berries yet but I love it! I always love your videos, thanks for doing them... there’s been quite an evolution, it’s been fun to watch😊
Thank you, Robbie! I need to get back to work on the spring Gathering design. I'm about three quarters done with it, but then I got distracted by working on a fall design and then I wondered if I could design something Scandinavian Christmas. 😂 I'm all over the place, but it's so fun! I guess that's true that my videos and I have changed quite a bit over these two and a half years! :)
I love your rosette finish on the tin container! I also love your new Halloween cat pattern that came out in the cross stitch magazine! My guess for Scuppernong would be some type of ale. 🍺 I would love to stitch Fancy That, The Prairie Village, Ye Old Crow Sampler or Strawberries and Stripes. Congratulations on the 5 K milestone!
It must be a swamp monster! I used to work in the accessories department in a department store, very interesting until inventory. When in high school I dated a guy from Prairie Village Kansas, didn’t realize it was to become the home of Prairie Schooler. I am not an Autumn stitcher but am interested in adding some pieces to my wall. Great to see you again. Sending prayers for you and your family.
Great video Misty, really enjoyable watch. I’m guessing the scuppernog sounds like a Scandinavian winter drink. I like stitching accessories and would like to stitch the Prairie Village and Autumn Samplers 🧵🧵👍👍
I believe scuppergong is a kind of grape that you don't eat the skin, I had them when I visited the southern states. My favourite accessory are needleminders...I was just introduced to them and i absolutely love them. I would also like to stitch Autumn Samplers and Ye Old Crow. Thanks for sharing your story. I will be purchasing your new "Gathering" series.
Gathering Berries is a very lovely design! Sending prayers to you and your family. Congratulations on having a design in the latest Halloween edition magazine; it's so cute! Fun patriotic finish! Ye Old Crow .
First I have to say I really LOVE your earrings! So sorry about your nephew; I will add him to my prayer list. Just found out this week that my sister has lung cancer and will be starting chemo. Life isn’t fair and it sucks. I like accessories like needle minders and/or scissor fobs with lots of charms. I could definitely stitch a prairie village or the autumn samplers. As for scupper-whatsis, judging by the color I’d guess maybe seaweed? Love your videos!
Just found your floss tube. Luv your FFOs. I think a scuppernong is a part of a ship's anchor. Prarie Village, Old Crow Heart in Hand, and Strawberries and Stripes are in my future.
Hi Misty! I'm so sorry for this challenging season your family is going through. I know too that being far away makes it even worse. I live almost 1000 miles from my family in the deep south (Louisiana). It is a terrible feeling knowing your loved ones are having a difficult time and not being close by to help them. It's wonderful you have found a way to help them! And...being from Louisiana I know what a scuppernong is. It's a grape-type berry thing like a muscadine. My Mamo grew them and my Mom loves them. Unlike muscadines, a scuppernong (in my opinion) smells. lol I love accessories with my Village and Souvenirs of the Heart with Ye Old Crow and I love strawberries and stripes. lol OH, I love your new designs!!! So glad I pre-ordered the cross stitch magazine! I will have to check out Crazy Annie's for your other one. Hope you have a great week!
Scuppernongs are huge grapes. I first had them on my very first visit to Alabama. That was 20 years ago and is no my second home. If I had to choose my favorite cross stitch accessory / accessories, it would have to be scissors and needle minders. The Fanci That chart looks like fun. I love Heart in Hand patterns. Strawberry and Stripes is one chart that I don’t have. Smile
So glad you are back. I am sorry the learn of your niece and nephew’s cancer diagnosis. I am a retired cancer care research nurse. Treatments are hard but they have made great strides in disease control and cure. I’m from Canada so I know your health care system is different. Scuppernong sounds like the name of a fairy tale figure, like a little gnome or elf 😄
I really like the Prairie Village houses, I have the town church pattern from Prairie Schooler, very cute.
Glad to see you back again, sending my prayers and thoughts to you and your family. 🙏🏼❤️
Thank you for your kind words!
Thank you! ❤️
Just ordered your beautiful Gathering Berries pattern. So glad to help such a worthwhile cause. Sending love, hugs and prayers to you and your family.❤️
Thank you so much for your kind words, Sharon!
Thank you, Crystal! That must have been a lot for your son to go through, especially at so young an age. ❤️
Take care
🙏 For your Nephew. Ordered your design fundraiser.
Thank you so much! :)
I am so sorry about your nephew and will also be praying for a positive outcome.
oh my word - your Strawberries and Stripes finish is AWESOME!
So nice to see a video from you! Sending prayers and good thoughts to your niece and nephew. Love everything you're stitching and your new designs. I'm planning a dough bowl full of small red pillows, with Gathering Berries right in the middle. Happy stitching!
Thank you for your kind words, Kim!
Autumn sampler. Prairie village. So glad you are back to video. Prayers for your nephew. I think scuppernong is a fruit, not sure.
‘’ Away we Ride’’, is gorgeous. I gasped 😍
Very glad to see you back. Prayers for your family!

Thank you for your kind words, Ellen!

Prayers being said for your nephew

Always a pleasure to see your videos! I am so very sorry about your nephew and am praying for him and your niece and you. It is so difficult when people we love are ill. I love your patriotic finish and of course your Halloween piece in Just Cross stitch (which I picked up yesterday!). Take good care and happy stitching!
Thank you so much, Wanda!
The green floss sounds like a good tea. The village samplers would be great to win.
I love your designs. And your channel. Thank you.
Thank you, Dianne!
Thank you, Cathy! 😊❤️
First time watching you I just love your designs . I love the prairie set. Thank you
Schuppulong sound like it would be a messy backet of yarn
Thank you, Judy!
Just found your channel and enjoyed watching. I love souvenirs of the heart, star spangled spectacular!
Thanks for visiting, Joyce!
I like charm accessories. That is amazing you found Prairie Village. I would also like the with thy needle and thread souvenirs of summer. Thank you so much. I had no idea until people knew what the floss was.
Love your new designs!! Prairie village steals my heart!!
So happy to visit with you ! Got my morning going . Hugs see ya take care
Thank you so much!
Very beautiful projects, 😍😍you’re very creative my friend 👍🌸💐🌸💐
LOL! I love the way you incorporated all the giveaway items in your comment!
🤗 Good to see you Misty and what you have been up to. Take care.
Thank you for visiting, Carlene!
I love the sheep Christmas pattern, Halloween is cute too- I am waiting on the just Halloween magazine to arrive
Great video Misty, really enjoyable watch. I’m guessing the scuppernog sounds like a Scandinavian winter drink. I like stitching accessories and would like to stitch the Prairie Village and Autumn Samplers 🧵🧵👍👍
Lovely to catch up with you.
Thank you!
Congrats on your finish of Away We Ride. It is beautiful!
Thanks for the fun visit with you today.
Thanks for visiting, Teal!
Awhh Misty...it’s ok to cry. ❤️🙏🙏
Smile
