Me, Too, Aimee! Sometimes I think it would be nice to sleep through the winter, but then I would have less time to stitch and quilt! Thanks for watching!
Great to see you ladies! I can honestly say I wasn’t real excited to see your opening picture…there is no snow yet in northern Minnesota. The finishes you both shared are wonderful as always. I enjoyed seeing your haul, the vintage finds are so fun. I love the pincushions, such great ideas using the little containers. I always love seeing the quilts too, always inspiring. Have a great time stitching with your friends! 🌻
You guys are great. First time I was lucky enough to see you. I am in Naples Florida so the turtle was very interesting to hear. people often have to stop traffic and get them off the road I will try to catch you all more often
Thanks for watching, Deborah! I used to not like zippers, but when I made my first project bag, it wasn't that hard so now I don't mind them! Give it a try!
LeAnn and Jeannie, What a fun visit this FT was! I loved seeing your finishes. I sure wish I lived close enough to go on an outing with you. You always have such great finds. Your discussion of sampler verses was interesting. I purposely choose samplers without verses. Most of them are just too maudlin. IMHO. Jeannie's bags are beautiful. I have been on a bag kick lately too. LeAnn, I am anxious to see your bags. Happy stitching. Best, K
Nice to hear from you, Karen! I wish you could come along on one of our trips, also! I'm sure we would have such a great time! I just got my blue and white fabric. Just waiting on the patterns! Happy Thanksgiving!
I had the feeling a Jeannie and LeAnn video was coming!! ❤ just LOVE all of your projects. Jeannie, the round Halloween project is gorgeous, and such a wonderful finish with your husband's handiwork. 👍 LeAnn, the blue sampler is going to be gorgeous! Happy and safe travel, ladies! 😄. Looking forward to your Hawk Run projects. 😊
Dang, now I have an Adam’s family ear worm, do do do do, snap snap….. always happy when you show up😍look forward to seeing you next weekend. Beautiful finishes!
Thank you, Marilyn. I have a brother-in-law that lives in Bloomington so we usually get down there a couple times a year. We used to live in Bloomington when we were first married.
I always enjoy your Flosstubes. Jeannie, I stitched Modern Folk Embroidery , Real Comfort and love it. That new Plum Street chart is pretty, but too much for me. Have fun on your travels!!!
I am always inspired with your videos. You find the cutest patterns and do great finishing. You are so prolific in your making. Thanks for sharing. Have a good time on your next road trip.
So good to see another flosstube. I enjoy your show and tell for both cross stitch, quilting, and every now and then your wool applique. Have a great week!
Ohhhhhhh I’m soooo excited to see you two!!! 😃🙌🏼🥳 B-e-a-u-t-I-f-u-l projects 😍. I almost wish I lived in MN so we could be neighbors…my niece lives in Rochester…🥰
@@jeanniebergdahl1901 I can’t travel anymore because of a bad couple of back surgeries and foot surgery, but I would sure love to go see my niece and stop in on you two!!! And I live in Central Indiana. 💞
Jeannie and LeAnn...thanks for sharing such a delightful posting...I would love you to be my neighbors...so excited to hear of your plans...best wishes ❤❤
Can’t believe the snow. This has been a whacky fall! Love your Happy Halloween finish. George decorated for Martha turned out great. Jeannie, how did your son fare through the hurricanes? Love seeing you two.
I finished happy Halloween and mounted it in the bat (mirror) frame from Joanne’s. I didn’t even notice that the landscape was not even … I’m obviously not precise in my framing! 😆
Hi ladies. Quick question to Leann. I have not heard you say anything in awhile, but how is your sweet husband doing? Have a great weekend to you both. I LOVE your video intro. Such beautiful stitching. You can keep the snow! Hugs
Thank you for asking, Cheryl! He is doing well. No shaking in his hands. He has stiffness, which is from his Parkinson's, but he's doing well. I will give everyone an update on our next video.
Sorry I missed the St Judes fund-raiser. My son's brain tumour was sent to St Judes as part of a study & definitive diagnosis in 2009. At the time there was no research being done on childhood brain tumours in Australia. Here we are in 2024 and , despite astronomical increases in the incidence of brain tumours in children, there is only 1 small study being done. Here the government gives funding to the Cancer Council that, unfortunately, gives 87% of it the breast cancer research. Children are our future, they deserve the help too. It's so bad for other cancers in Australia that if a researcher wants to trial a drug discovered by a breast cancer researcher (fully funded with public money), they are charged full price for the privilege. My son survived with quite a few ongoing issues but was very upset his 'hitch-hiker ' got to go to the USA and he didn't. 😊 Thought there was no turtle tidbits! Very interesting non turtle tidbit Ladies ❤
Hi Ladies! Love your stitched pieces! Question: Where do you get your your saw dust to stuff your pillows? Do you have to add anything in your pillow to keep the saw dust in the pillow? Thanks! Take care!!😊
We have a friend who has a saw mill and he is saving some for me. And I don’t do anything except sew up the opening while trying to keep the saw dust in the pillow.
Hi Patricia! I buy my sawdust on Etsy. I put a fusible stabilizer on the back of both pieces before I sew the two pieces together. I leave a hole in the bottom of the pinkeep and fill it as full as I can. Then I whip stitch the bottom to close it. The stabilizer keeps the sawdust in.
You two are a treasure 😊. Always look forward to & enjoy your floss-tube. Keep them coming “girls”
Thanks Mary!
Always fun watching you two. ❤ I wish I could lose my appetite like the turtles. Ha ha😂

Can’t believe the snow. This has been a whacky fall! Love your Happy Halloween finish. George decorated for Martha turned out great. Jeannie, how did your son fare through the hurricanes? Love seeing you two.
Thanks for watching Mary. Our son did ok during the hurricanes. He said the tornadoes were worst than the hurricane winds where he was.
I finished happy Halloween and mounted it in the bat (mirror) frame from Joanne’s. I didn’t even notice that the landscape was not even … I’m obviously not precise in my framing! 😆

Jeannie. Do you also glue your ric rac on? I absolutely love both of you and your stitches and turtle tidbits
Yes. I use Aleene’s tacky glue.
@ I’ve glued chenille but not tic rac. Can hardly wait to try it. Thank you
Jeannie, what is the title of the tote with zipper book called and author? You enabled me! Perfect for nurses for a gift
The book is called “Easy to Make Totes with Zippers” by Cindy Taylor Oates from Taylor Made Designs. Hope this helps.
