Volvo XC40 - Volvo infotainment better than Google?

Before (new) Volvo Cars will feature the Android Automotive OS, we have the current Volvo Cars Infotainment system. Which in my opinion might be just as good, so in this video I'm taking you through the current system providing some tips and tricks.

Can you please do video about CarPlay and about the wifi? I got my car today and if I understand It right I have to have the phone connected with cable if I want to use CarPlay and the buethoothe can not bee turned on...

Thanks for the video. I think utilize google infotainment is right way to go in long term, frees hands to develop car itself. I guess that google infotainment is coming to xc60 recharge models too "soon"?

I agree, and while Google might be a bit 'basic' at this moment. I expect that pretty soon they will come with updates that improve the user experience and also add applications such as TH-cam, Netflix etc. Speaking of the XC60, Volvo revealed the facelift actually yesterday. And Google Automotive OS will come standard in this 'new' XC60, yay! :-)

They will! Only not in the T2, T4/T5 Recharge models. 😄

Still some bugs here and there but I do like the 'smartness' of the Google Maps and such. And the OTA ability to constantly improve the car regarding range, apps etc. :-)
