What’s you favorite moment from Reacher?
My favorite is when he casually just calls peolpe who try to eliminate him!

It’s Ritchson not Richardson! The character is 6’5” but Ritchson is 6’2”. I thought they did a great job making him look huge.
Reacher Season Two is better than season one. Sure they screwed up everything about the military and made soldiers look bad but it’s still great to watch. I liked the action. It’s unpredictable and the story flows.

in fairness to my fellow vets, I knew of guys like those depicted, especially the chain of command issues where those officers who cared about looking good over doing the right thing. The dirty drug selling supply officers were dead on. I remember seeing the aftermath of their misconduct. The only thing worse that a bad 90a is a navy porkchop, those dudes are basically the drug dealers of the ship.

Keep politics out of movie reviews. This "eVeRyThInG iS wOkE!!!" stuff from movie review channels is just boring and lazy at this point. Unsubscribed.

No politics? Reacher is clearly a intellectual who views women as capable in combat and worthy or respect.... thats what the right would call "woke" messaging.

Women have always been capable, anyone can be trained. Reacher showing respect to women isn't really woke, it makes him look more of a gentleman than anything else.

Idk, man. I’m sure there are exceptions but say someone gets hit and needs to be carried…how do you expect a woman to carry a 200 pound man on her back all the way to safety? This is the exact scenario that a WOMAN herself created and asked about…and it’s a legitimate point. Now obviously there are things that women can do in the army, but if we’re talking about things that require a lot of physicality then you will literally always be better off using a trained man opposed to a trained woman. You would just be lowering the % of success for no other reason than to not hurt anyone’s feelings. Even if it goes from a 65% to a 64% success rate(which wouldn’t be the case…it would be a much bigger differential) that’s still unacceptable when we’re talking about people’s lives being on the line. Again, this was a woman that was in the military…referring to women being in combat situations.

@@jordancave3089 You a vet? Because I am and I can tell you that most men can not carry a 200 pound person for much of a distance. We drag them to safety or use multiple people.
According to the US Army OneSource, the average weight for a man aged 17 to 20 years is about 165 pounds. Combat units its 194 pounds.
The SPRINT-DRAG-CARRY (SDC) uses either 2x40-pound kettlebells and 90-pound sled. The 3 REPETITION MAXIMUM DEADLIFT (MDL) requirement is three sets 120 to 340 pound lift depending on our own body weight.
Before you start some bluster about "well in basic they would grow in strength to be able to... " No, that's not what basic is for and only some advanced programs would bother trying to push a applicant to those programs to be able to.
This is not TV, the military does not work the way you think it does playing CoD.

@@erikanders3343 did you read my comment? Or did you get butthurt and just start spouting nonsense because you were in your feelings? The exact scenario I laid out came directly out the mouth of a FEMALE vet. It truly doesn’t matter what exactly is being done…if it involves physicality in just about any way, then men are going to be more effective. This isn’t a matter of opinion, dude. Even women will agree because it’s just an objective fact. Which is why this I got this entire argument from a woman in the first place. Btw, I haven’t play CoD in quite some time…but since when could you carry injured teammates? Or did you not stop to think about how that makes no sense because you were butthurt and just wanted to insult me?? Now I see why you chose the profession you did…it doesn’t require much critical thinking lol and remember that you’re the one who decided to start throwing insults around.
