    Man I love Jeeja Yanin, she deserves some bigger Hollywood roles. The body control for the hand stand at the start and the combo at 2:02 to 2:10 are my favorite parts

    How would you like to see some Karate fight scenes. Don't know if you've already seen it, but the dojo fight scene between Taikan and the Japanese soldiers as well as Giryu and the captain in "Kuro Obi"(Black belt) was one of the best depiction of traditional style karate I've seen onscreen.

  • @WinetimeMyTime
    @WinetimeMyTime 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    Is that snake style? That had me laughing 🤣. I remember when I was a kid, my brother and I use to make up styles when we watched Shaw brother Kung Fu movies. I had Two Fisted tiger style vs my brother's Monkey In a Tree style hahahaha

    I'd also love to hear you comment of stuntmen on this channel. Clips with technical fighting is super awesome. If you were also sharing clips of stunt-men and physically capable people getting put in harms way for our entertainment, that would be amazing, too. There is a scene in a Jackie Chan movie called Mr Canton And Lady Rose, which was called "Miracles" upon it's north American release. The end fight is in a warehouse of ropes, and it's great. But an earlier fight has Jackie fighting gangsters around a twisting staircase in a room of ceiling fans. And boy oh boy do I feel the pain of some of those stuntmen. It makes me appreciate how fit and able someone has to be to be able to pull some of this shit off. Maybe work-out folk and martial artists can take comfort knowing that if a movie-maker saw what you could do, maybe you'd be in a movie. But to do that, Jackie Chan has to kick your legs out from under a staircase and you have to crash face first into a ceiling fan. Like, you gotta REALLY want it but you can do it!

    Ok, if it's to be TECHNICAL fighting I have two things for you. One, there is a Drunken Boxing scene in Ong Bak 2 I'd love to hear your commentary of if you can find it. Two, literally an impressive and technical fight.... Tony Jaa has a long, one-take action sequence in The Protector and from an action and film standpoint, it's technically impressive.

  • @RyanDesmond
    @RyanDesmond 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    I'd also love to hear your technical opinion on how someone as fat as Sammo Hung can pull off moves as nimble and as fast as he does in the Bo-Staff fight from Pedicab Driver, or in the classic end-scene of The Magnificent Butcher.
