You're the best!
Thank you so much Ted for another great review! Always a delight to see you covering one of my baddies
Level twenty is the level to attain to “become” the PC one seeks to be. I love having content meant for epic play. Thank you for introducing this. My players will one day enjoy this once we reach our retirement years! LOL.
That signal interference opens so many possibilities.
Looks great, but sadly, can't get the physical book outside of the US it would appear.
Cthulhu would be primo with more madness consequences for surviving psychic attacks. I’m definitely doing that in my campaigns. Definitely adding it to all other Lovecraft type creatures.
This is amazing! I have just pre-ordered their Hero Handbook and got the Core Rulebook :P
I had been looking for epic rules in 5e that make sense for a while and I'm loving it so far
Always loved high level campaigns
Thanks for summarizing this book so nicely.
As much as I like 2CGaming's content, they will never see another dime of my money because of their aggressive marketing techniques.
I allowed myself to be suckered by the multiple emails a day they were sending me and I ended up buying something from them I really didn't need.
I have since blocked their emails and will never buy another one of their products again.
Does the book include Vecna? Wanted to make him a villain for a long time now
Not according to the table of contents, no.

Could always reskin accerak
The tactical and encounter suggestions make this a great collection of campaign villains (BBEG's). I'm not sure about 2C's mythic levels but it looks like those are optional rules in this book.
I have this book and my favorite is the multi-part Prime Evil Tarrasque. It's so cool. Should do a rundown of him. :)
4 minutes in, and I'm sold.
If they sell hard cover copies
They do! Mine just hasn't arrived in the mail yet
I can't wait to get copy
I am actually proud they mentioned Lovecraft's problematic past. Cthulhu is a cool monster but it's creator is a POS.
A lot of the people who created things we love were POS. See Gary Gygax.
What is a POS?
you know i'm willing to bet if you were raised in the same time period you would probably share a lot of the same values as Lovecraft. I'm not saying that his views weren't wrong, but I also believe that it is wrong to beat a dead horse.
@@noravalio Can you explain me what POS is, and what are you referring to please?
@@noravalio there were many people raised in that time period that weren't extremely racist. You can say stop beating a dead horse but I also think that many gamers probably don't know about his past and it is good to never forget, just like any other problematic person, place, or event.
I find it interesting how 2C is rigorous about avoiding WOTC's trademarks and copyrights but completely ignores the Chaosium's trademarks and copyrights. Did they clear this content ahead of time?
Chaosium has no claim to Chthulhu. It entered the public domain in like 1987 or something, 50 years after Lovecraft died
looks very intresting
If the average 5e campaign only lasts 6 sessions, why would you need monsters of this high a level? Lol. Seems like a waste of money for 5e players.
Would've been nice to hear about a different monster. Cthulu has been run into the ground. Correct, everyone's heard of Cthulu. And it's kinda boring now. Yay, Cthulu....again. Would've liked to hear a sample that was actually new and/or different.
