I see flocks of wild turkeys on occasion by the roadside in central Ontario Canada. My parents live on a 140 acre wooded property in the countryside. I visited them last year in the late fall and a lone turkey ventured one morning into an open landing. My father being a hunter took it out pretty quick. They are much more meaty in the fall after having more to eat during the summer. In the spring they are much more leaner. The meat is slightly more gamey, dark, and tougher than a conventional farm raised turkey, if anyone cares to know.
Hey bud! Yeppers! They sure are. 🦃 They are always here at my home. I live about a 1/4 mile from the nearest rd in the woods with no neighbors. It's a nature sanctuary here. Wild Turkey and tons of deer mostly.
@@danielsan3681 Sounds wonderful! I have 7 acres, but the area around us is getting built up rapidly -- the only thing I saw this week was a cute little turtle 🐢
