Recuerdo que en el 99 estaba viendo videos en MTV y el rock que se escuchaba en ese entonces no encajaba conmigo. Cuando vi por primera vez este video no es exageración pero quedé enamorado por como se vestían, como se peinaban, era justo el ritmo y guitarra que necesitaba oir en ese entonces. Gracias a eso no me despegaba de MTV porque hasta una semana tardaban en pasarlo. Apunté su nombre y la canción, nunca pude escribirla ni memorizarla así que empecé a comprar uno por uno de sus discos, con el fin de encontrar esa bendita canción con el nombre tan raro. Y así me volví fan de Oasis y empecé a escuchar más bandas de UK.
hahaa, se de lo que hablas. tenía como 8 años cuando escuche esta canción e igual me quede con esa sensación de como se llamaba esa maldita canción que no apunte el nombre? :S. pasaron años y como mi abuelita trabajaba en una venta de garage un día llego de trabajar con unos cassettes que no se vendieron y ahí estaba el cassette de "The Masterplan". Lo escuche y ahí fue donde me llego la sorpresa de habre encontrado esa canción tan chingona que escuche como un año o dos atras haha
🙈🙈🙈 es increíble, yo también quedé enamorada de Oasis cuando empecé a ver estas transmisiones de MTV de ese entonces y hasta hoy soy fan del grupo y de la cultura Brit-Pop
A mi me paso lo mismo jeje. Desde q un dia escuche "don't go away" en la radio en el año 97, quede maravillado con el estilo de rock "brit pop, rock alternativo" q proponia la banda. Desde ese momento empece a seguir la banda y me hice fans. Que lindos recuerdos de aquellos años! Ojala podamos ver pronto una reunion definitiva de la banda otra vez...

God, Liam's voice is so bloody amazing... I literally grew up listening to Oasis (they created the band the year I was born) and even thought I listened to their songs loads of times, I can't get tired of them

This is fucking incredible. Most underrated band of all time. Hate the fact they didn't manage to make it big time in the US. That is why Oasis isn't mentioned in the discussion with the biggest bands of all time. The cultural impact they had in the UK, marked an era. Some people say they always sound the same and have one song (Wonderwall). Those people are stupid! Oasis has one of the best (or THE best) collections of B Sides of all time, added to countless hit songs that weren't appreciated in the US. Noel took stupid decisions like makings songs like this one a B Side. And many others. Only imagine the possibilities if Liam didn't skip the MTV Unplugged, treated Americans nicely, and stuff like that. But you know what? They left a mark this way. And are special because of all of that. Now that they have families, are settled in life, and left that attitude behind, they should reunite and go for what they couldn't accomplish in the 90s. Too good of a band not to give the fans what they want.
They didn’t play the game. They didn’t bow down to American record executives and kiss their feet, and god bless them for it.
