The Wago screwdriver (pronounced Vago) looks like the one designed for releasing the screwless DIN-rail Wago terminals. That's a really odd seal retaining system, but clever because it must allow some element of play.
Ya it was a little tight, I'm sure you could tell in the video we were worried about dropping one. Dropping one would've bee really bad cause we had no access to under the elevator.
26:24 I don't know if it any different when it come to elevator hydro seals but there this a tool called a "Rod Seal Installation Tool" that has saved me from this exact heartache quite a few times.
I’ve seen enough of your videos to know you what you are doing but don’t let the guys from Otis see it there have a fit I won’t go into it but it’s to do with health and safety sorry

Holy @&@ what are you doing here surfing obscure elevator hydraulics? Need any elevator drives to tear down?
@@rob8823 I find elevator stuff interesting. It's part of my recreational TH-cam.
Thanks for the views. If you ever want something like a drive to take apart let me know.
@@MQElevators Thanks for the offer, but shipping big stuff internationally is not a good idea at the moment.
Don't turn screws with a Wago tool. It works great for wire terminals, until you start using it as a screwdriver/pick.
Omg, never knew this existed. Nice of Northern to leave you plenty of room to work. Drop one bearing in the pit and try again the next day.

a magnet works great for those ball bearings ;-)
Love the longer video (dont expect you to always do this aha)
actually Ive got a question, I just applied with Delta Elevators in the Ontario Region, You know any other people I could apply to in the area??
I would definitely apply to the local union office.

I will have to look into that one.
Why design a piston with ball bearings😭
to allow for any misalignment between it and the load it is pushing

Don't worry, no one from Otis watches you tube.
Ya I get that a lot
