Yet another interesting youtube channel. Have never thought of how many elevators there are out there to be maintained. Yeah, every multistory building I go into I just assume I can find an elevator. It's not all just huge sky scrapers with them. And I just assume they actually are safe and work!
I've done door packages with about 12 5/16"x18 bolts per landing when I was in mod and would occasionally break taps with a drill. Some person showed me tap sockets and using an impact driver you'll never break taps again. Not that you broke one here but if you're not 100% parallel with the hole that super hard tap bit will snap inside the hole.
On trouble doors in the hospitals that been hit they have GAL sill mounted closers. I do the same thing and add those brackets. If they have GL hangers, they already bought directly to the trail roller it’s amazing.
