    Hell yeah, gotta love new tools! I got one of those titanium welders from harbor freight also, got the one Mike F has based on his recommendation, the Titanium 140. 30 year bodyman here and its the best welder I have ever touched for this stuff. I've been working it to death since I got it and it is doing a great job and I have ZERO complaints. I started off using it with the flux core since I didnt have a bottle at the time, and I have went thru a few rolls of flux core and havent bothered getting the gas. It doesnt have very bad splatter at all for a flux core, it welds almost as good as a gas wire. I've been loving this welder and now ya done had to go make me want to upgrade to that bad beast you just got. Wow, TIG also. I think your gonna love the welder. I like to take real good care of my tools, I think if you do the same with this welder it will live long and serve you well. Look at Mike F's, its still working and it looked like he dropped a sledge on its face and busted off a knob his first week of having it. lol.

    • @VWJawbreaker
      @VWJawbreaker  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      So far so good.... although I’ve only made a few tacks since this video but it seems to work real well so far.
      Reason behind this machine is I’m trying to make some more room in the garage and since this one can dc stick as well, I can put the old buzz box ac stick welder away fir the time being. I wish it could ac tig but for the price I’m sure it’ll be better than nothing. I mostly wanted it for the 200a mig and stick function.

    I own an Eastwood MIG 175 that has less than 4 hours use, looks brand new and because it is out of warranty, I am stuck with the POS. Eastwood was going to take it back but, they changed their mind. Eastwood is GARBAGE made in China. If you want no support, purchase an Eastwood. They are just another Chinese retailer.

    • @VWJawbreaker
      @VWJawbreaker  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wow Paul, that really sucks.
      I spoke with Eastwood when I was looking to upgrade and they acted like they didn’t care. I mentioned that the Harbor Freight welders looked similar and I was told “it’s all made in China anyway”.
      For me, it made more sense to buy the harbor freight welder with an extended warranty. If anything goes wrong, I take it back with the receipt and walk out with a new one. Much easier than mailing it off imo. No, I’m not sponsored by them, it just made more sense in my situation.
