Yes, GFRP bars can be used in slabs. The price of a GFRP bar could be 3 times that of a steel bar (for a diameter #3 10mm). However, the price difference reduces as the diameter increases. The GFRP bars are available in almost all the sizes including 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 16mm, 24mm. I hope this answers all your questions.
