Love the videos and all of your hard work! I appreciate what you are doing and trying to solve for everyone else. Just come constructive criticism, you and I know you’ve memorized every wire, color, and function. But viewers have not. It’s extremely confusing for learning viewers to make sense of what you are showing them with a huge bundle of wires. Takes a long time but I would suggest printing off a huge diagram and placing on a table to help viewers visualize and most importantly, understand what they are doing. Maybe along with the harness for an added visual. Obviously you are filming as you go and the job must go on! Keep it up man! Love your stuff
Wow - very thoughtful comments! Yes so I may produce another video detailing the CAS wiring. I will issue an N54 integrators guide. While I am giving 80% of the farm for free, the other 20% needs to generate some revenue so I can continue to do cool projects for my subs. So there’s a healthy balance there that I’m trying to establish with too much or not enough detail provided. You familiar with Patreon? Someone suggested that earlier and I’m considering it. Great job! I’m doing a n52 to n54 swap in my 07 e60. I’ve been into the wiring also, so I feel your pain . I’m coming from a na motor that runs variable timing, which carries multiple power wires. I believe I’m the first one to do it to an e60 using a n52 transmission. I’m hope to also get her running soon, nothing feels better that reap the fruits of your labor!

Garageaholic I wanted to know what gearbox is used for the swap, if it is the M3 e36 or the 335i, as I could see I miss other thousands of questions, for the doubts that I have that are many, I want to build this same project in my BMW , in my case we ablamos of a 325i e36 coupe, manual change, without variable distribution, (NOT VANOS) but here in Spain, there are not people prepared for this type of modification, could you provide me with your email to communicate better? use Whatsapp?
