    Learning the loop would be my dream come true, but it is so much harder than it looks, particularly if you have knock knees or other physical leg problems. If I don't pass my Novice moves, it'll be because of this. But thank you so much for uploading this video...the "pressure meter" makes a lot of sense, as does the "press" concept. I've never heard it described that way. Will try this once this Coronavirus is over! :)

    The weight baring software is quite nice. I enjoyed that .

    It looks quite a small loop compared to compulsory figures, but looks very well executed

    This is one of your most helpful videos Oleg. Do you find inside loops to be easier than outside? I can only do a right forward outside loop and to be honest, it’s not right. I could possibly incorporate it into a step sequence but it wouldn’t pass muster for old school figures, or moves in the field. I really would like to master these because I think they are so beautiful.

    Will you guys make any videos about side-by-side or throw jumps in future?

      Hi Alison, @constantlydepressedgirl is right, it that we don't jump or do throws. Our current goal is to cover all skating knowledge that we are familiar with. Perhaps after that we may get some pairs skaters to guest star and explain jumps and throws. We'll see ;-)

    is loop jump part of this loop turn?

    • @p1nkflam1ng0
      @p1nkflam1ng0 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      no, a loop jump can be started with a forward inside 3-turn or it can be started backwards, like a lutz jump. either way, there is no loop turn in the loop jump

    Very respectfully: Sorry, but you have no idea what it means, A LOOP. Bring back the compulsories!

      With all due respect, no one gets into skating so they can do compulsory figures. And with all due respect, it's the newcomers who will keep skating (and compulsory figures) alive

    • @mechez774
      @mechez774 ปีที่แล้ว

      And also with all due respect, the original figure skaters found compulsories repugnant anyways since they ruined the true artistry and beauty of figures

      Are you referring to compulsory figures? These are ice dancers. I’ve dancers made our current moves in the field and upcoming skating skills.
      They never said they were doing figures and paragraph loops.
