I am thankful for YOU , for the nice presentation of Kseniya and the smart interpretation of Oleg .
I am waiting for the videos about : 87 .Forward Outside Counter 88. Backward Inside Counter
    89.Backward Outside Counter.
And then the same 4 variation with Rockers !
This is the best way for me to learn these moves on ice .I can see your "movies"again and again.
I am always happy when you describe the frequent flaws and mistakes.

I'm writing an ice skating story, and your channel has been my absolute go-to for descriptions, edges, and whatnot.
You two are bloody stars, you are! Cheers :D

Awesome!! I wanna read it when you're done. If you need any particulars, find me on Facebook/oleg.altukhov.1

You are an absolute diamond, mate! The most trouble I'm having are those who fully make up a figure skater's team. Coach, choreographer etc etc, and all I can seem to find via Google are the words "Take classes!"
      *pulls out hair*
P.S. Don't be alarmed if you find pleading posts for help at 2 am...!

Tried this today and it worked a little better when I tried finishing the turn with the foot behind as in the demonstration here. I think ill stick to that for a while til i get more comfortable with the turn. Finishing with the foot in front and inside swing rolling out of it has a nice look to it but it is definitely more difficult.

THanks for the advice! They are very helpful. I am not up to the stage to learn Counters yet but this helps me a lot to prepare for it. Have a Happy New Year!

Happy new year! I liked the Santa hats😀 The knee and ankle action thing was a good point. I think I might be waiting too long to come up and that's effecting my flow coming out of the turn. From my background in roller skating I'm not used to the rise and fall on turns, but I see on ice when you're on a blade it's very necessary. On ice I'm trying to develop effective movement skills and the effective use of the knee and ankle rise and fall seems to be the key to a lot of things.

Happy New Year to you too Edmund!! Yeah, knee and ankle action is very important, but it takes a while to learn and forever to master.

Whats the name of the music playing in the background of all your videos? It's so pretty!
Like don't get me wrong, Id totally watch for just the skating and advice alone , but I could listen to that background music on a loop for hrs and would love to listen to it in its entirety.
