@@IDEALRC that’s good to hear man I was honestly on the fence between the gladiator or the gen8 axe edition and after pulling the trigger now I’m second guessing like maybe I shoulda went with the axe cause of the dig servo burning up on them and the clicking gear in tranny. All fixable issues but I was still wondering if I made the right choice. This is my first crawler build. I’ve always had bashers or monster trucks.
I want to put the same sway bar on y gladiator. Having a bit of trouble sourcing the plastic bumper mount, but I’m sure I’ll find it somewhere. Was wondering what you used to clamp the rod to the mount?
Hey when you say long servo horn is Clarence for the chasy.... is that how you fixed the problem with the servo horn hitting the pan hard mount and cutting the left turn radius. I've been trying to find a way around that.
yes and no the long horn let the steering move more before it gets to the panhard mount , you do have to make room the servo horn on the chassis side or it will hit
Nice video...sweet rides! 👍 : ) Also, a little tip...I cut out the window tint and just stuck the window trim on the truck so that the interior was more visible, just a thought. (It really comes in handy at night with the dash lights.) 😉
The glad can be a great crawler with scale details it's long wheel base makes a very good foe for even the best comp style crawlers and with better od options than the redcat
I have both 10.3 rigs I'm not doing any mods on mine other that 2 pc metal driveshafts axial 27t motors esc fans running on 3s lower cg I wraped wheels magnitic wheather stripping fit great with the foams and that's it basically and the Gladiator is a 13.9 wheelbase cool video 😎👍
Freakin awesome mi big bro but 2 things 1st thing from what other transmission or other vehicle did u get the gear for the transmission 2nd I thought the Capra axles doesn’t have a mounting spot on the axle oh and what is the outer diameter of your JLU tires????? I love your Gladiator build! Im torn whether to build a Glad like my real Glad or go Ascent Fusion for performance crawler. Whats your thoughts?

How did you do the track bar /pan hard mounted to the axle? I was wanting to do this on my 10.3 aswell but don’t see any info
