In this video, Dr T shows how to use the TI series calculator to speed up calculations of binomial probability and cumulative binomial probability functions. Bernoulli trials have two possible outcomes, success or failure. Flipping coins or rolling dice or picking cards give great examples of how to calculate probabilities of exactly __ heads or tails, or success or failure since these casino style situations have well-defined, observable, discrete probabilities whereas other events in real life may fall on a continuous scale or vary depending on a host of factors.
