How To Reset Your Onkyo Receiver - You need to see this video

I had problems with my 30 year old Miller & Kreisel sub-woofer not working with my Onkyo receiver. I was calling companies all over the world, One person said to reset the receiver, so I did and this happened.

I’m sick of people saying it’s too old, get a new one! This old stuff last forever!! I bought my Onkyo set, The whole set with 6disk CD and turntable in 1991 and it works and sounds better than anything you can buy today!! I’m not kidding it’s so loud and clear I can listen to it when I’m mowing the lawn! Oh and my lawnmower has a gas engine!!

I don't know. reset puts in the state like you just bought it, you loose all settings.

You might have to try heating up the dps chip in the unit, which does a solder reflow. There are a few videos on how to do this on Onkyo receivers.
