Thank you for the comment ! because my remote RC 911 R no longer ordered the Onkyo NR 676e amplifier and ONKYO only talks about the change of zone to do when the remote no longer works (Mode + Main / Movie / TV)
The "mode" + "clear" button being simultaneously depressed also worked successfully for my TX-NR676 model. Thank you so very much for having posted this (very helpful) video.
OMG. I tot my remote or unit is dead. Got depressed for the whole day. Coz I have not used my unit since August 2022. Turned on today and remote is not working. But it blinks red on the led and check the IR blaster on camera, i saw violet light so its working. Then I followed this. Amazing!

Your 2 line written comment was all that was needed. The same problem happened to me but on a different Onkyo model. Those few words corrected the problem immediately. Thank you. It would have been really helpful if the relevant information was explained in the first minute. By all means add the chit chat afterwards with background information and the problems you encountered, but it was frustrating having to wade through the video to almost find the rest of the answer, which then gave meaning to the start. Far better to know what to say before pressing the record button than experiment during recording. You'll keep the viewers you want to help and get more Likes. Good luck.

There is 3 different ways to get the remote to work I know kind of long But it helped me remember when mine quits
