Democracy is government by the people for the people. Constitutionally, the Nigerian people are supposed to be the leash on members of the parliament. They have the power to recall (section 69 of the Constitution) senators who refuse to work on the demands and desires of the people.
You don’t think there is need for a new constitution but you worried about the political will of the current one, so how do you intend to change the statusco without a new constitution that will compel and force the politicians to begin to respect the law and put a stop in their gross violation of offices. Using the new constitution to trim and reduce their enormous and unlimited powers that allowed them to abuses their positions with impunity without fear

I disagree! The reason the 1999 Constitution did not work has to do with the fact that it was never solidly implemented at all levels of government.
As for her response regarding the 300% increase in the pay out to members of the judiciary, then yes, I believe she was bullsheeting
