Prof. speaks in tune with reality. He is not muddled up by class and politics.
You are using your professorial brain in the way it should be used. You clearly bridge the gap between the town and gown.
    Kudos to you Prof.

Whether it will solve our problems or not, Nigerians deserve to have their written constitution and not the 1999 constitution that was forced on Nigerians and that should be good a start to put the country on the part progress and development.

It's unfortunate and laughable for the Tinubu government to invite the Council Of Ministers and former Head of State to pass a Veto Of Confidence on his bad government.
Though, it is also absurd to those pushing out this narratives out there because the council DOES NOT have the mandate as such rather it only plays an advisory role to any government.
It is the Nigerian people who elected Tinubu, that also have the mandate to unilaterally PASSED a veto of no confidence in him .
And they have successfully done so through the last Ends Bad Governance Protest.

Well said Sir. In a nutshell we can only progress as a nation when we start loving our neighbors as ourselves, by then peace and love we reign in Nigeria. God bless Nigeria.

This is what I keep saying. But a bunch of “I too know” Nigerians think a new constitution is the automatic solution.
I actually think Nigeria’s issue is because we have short term leaders, which leads to short term thinking.
If we could have one good leader for 20 years. You’d see how the country would change. We’d be able to have more long term thinking, a more stable politics, and stable economic policies.

What will it make?if not.if the new consititution is not currupt on or by it's self,it will correct many isssue including your piont.ln china when you involved in curruption you are gone. but the new consititution, many not hold complete on that, because those are to form the consititution may not be free of curruption,so the way is tough for the leaders of today.

. . .If Tinubu's pasts were dirty nobody can make it clean and this is why it is difficult for President Tinubu to probe any erring officers in his administration. Yes, Tinubu did not take kindly of the treasury looting of the CBN governor, Mr Emefiele for which he is being punished. Forget it, Tinubu can't tackle corruption in Nigeria and succeed, period.

A new constitution will provide a good foundation for growth and for each region to adapt to its own perculiar culture and developmental growth.
Yes, there are rough roads to nation building due to the corruption mentality that Nigerians and most africans have found pleasure practising.
That should not stop Nigerian from different region to have a choice to develop at their own pace.
Take for example, the Igbos have been seeking for Independence.
They should be given the right to choose their future.
The same with other ethnic group in Nigeria.

The prof did not give any solution to Nigeria problem. Because he is against restructuring and did not blame Tinubu government. I am not a professor but I know The real solution to Nigeria problem is to restructure into regional government or divide the country into nations where the constitution will criminalise and punish corruption with fine+ decades of incarceration or if the theft is huge running into several millions and billions of Naira should be death penalty like in China etc . That is the best solution to Nigeria problem. But Tinubu cannot do it because all his cabinet members and the governors are all past and present indicted criminals making Nigeria a crime scene where the president has no balls to punish looters because he himself is a well known corrupt president in chief and thus dare not punish any treasury looters., hence Nigeria cannot be fixed for ever until Nigerian is forced into civil war of hunger and divide into pieces. Fact
