I don't even know what he did in Lagos that they are talking about. Transportation system that seems to be their major success of Lagos government starting from BRF (BRT, rail line projects has been initiated and planed as far back late 70s and early 80s. The economic prosperity has been tied to Lagos been the former capital of Nigeria and still remains the center of commerce till tomorrow. All the import and export Nigeria does as a country is from and coming to Lagos. Many infrastructure being build and maintained till today are done by FG. The only success he achieved is taxing people to raise IGR, which has no transparency and accountability. They budget a lot of the revenue to project that they have control over and their cronies are the ones in key posts and positions to their own advantage. The same revenue tactics is what is showing Nigerians now by increasing the cost of everything from fuel, tuition fee, and every good s that common man survive on. At the long run, citizen doesn't benefit from the money raised but they re using the same fund for themselves buying private jets and flying around the world.

Remember that Seun is not the only journalist out there conducting interviews we have seen great interviewers from different BBC, CNN, Arise News just to mention a few, the fact that a journalist is asking questions to understand what the interviewee thinks doesn't mean that the journalist should act like have no clue of what is on ground. The journalist should at least concede to the fact that he/she knows the basis and use that premise to press for answers and hold people to account.
