Your videos keep getting better if that's even possible! Spotted Pilot Knob a few times, been to many of those spots! Very cool letting my mind wander I was watching DB in action in 1779
I've been fascinated since I was a kid by the firsthand accounts of those who saw this great country in its wild state. Before the greed and rapaciousness of the white man turned it into what it is today. Imagine Chesapeake Bay waters clear to thirty or forty feet and the Ohio River too! Or having to wait three days for a herd of buffalo to pass before you could continue a journey. I never get tired of the relation of a sense of true freedom that comes down and through these accounts. Sadly the natural abundance engendered a sense of inexhaustibility that we have never been able to shake ourselves free of. And now we are on the brink of destroying the whole planet’s ability to support life, including our own. Silly human, silly human race.
You have some great scenes in this video ! Worth watching.
@@stephenfields6236 Thank you so much! Eastern Kentucky is truly beautiful and a joy to explore and film in!
@ I lived in Winchester KY for four years and know the Daniel Boone Forest area .
Some of my ancestors went into Kentucky before the revolution and the rest after. Some of my cousins still live on the land our ancestors settled
@@tabbithacampfield4116 Super cool! I have some family history that is similar. Thank you for watching!
@FlintlockOperator They came out of Virginia and NC and settled in Bell Co Kentucky
my ancestors had ties with the Boone's. But then again, in Kentucky County Virginia, who didn't.
That was an awesome episode … cinematography was exceptional!

Love you stuff man! Looking to buy a flintlock now haha thanks for the inspiration
@freedomoverfeelings Hey, fantastic! Check out the Kibler kits for a simple build, or the Pedersoli flintlocks for the best "out of the box" option!
Absolutely gorgeous.
The trees had blossoms and fruit on December 22?? (2:30)
