PF is what i use most for hyperlapses.

I bought the DJI mic after seeing your video about it. Just curious, why do you hold it instead of clipping it to your shirt?
The closer the mic is to your mouth the better the audio quality.Applies for every wireless mic. But if I need both my hands I’ll just clip it on my shirt
great post as always! quick question: 🤔 on my DJI OM6 using the mimo app, doesn't allow me to lock the WB, (not even acces it...) I mean.. I see it as an option but no matter what I do, the option is not responsive.... am I doing something wrong ? cheers & thanks!
You should be able to lock your white balance on the dji mimo app. Make sure your phone and app is up to date. Some issues can occur with android phones depending on the model.

In terms of quick shooting do you prefer the om4/ om4 se or om5? I like the charging with the om4 series 😮
I mean because the om5 needs a bit more unlocking vs om4 I’d one flick of the wrist 😮
Me too, i do like the built in power bank but the the dji om 5 extension pole is pretty useful too, i prefer the om5
@@BenettGraezer definitely will look into it because I don’t like the idea of having to click and open but I do want to try the extension pole, I like the easier part of om4 but if you like om5 better I will definitely trust you 😍

I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max with a Spigen case. Can I use the DJI OM6? The total weight is 289g (I think the gimbal supports up to 290g?). Anyway I feel not safe without a case..

I heard that the iphone’s self-stabilization fights with the gimbal causing the jitters. Guess not… or was that fixed with updates? Rockin’ my 13 pro max here in 2024 🤓
This only applies to older iPhone models, you shoudn‘t have any issues with the 13

The gimbal is great but the footage always needs extra stabilization, preferably done on a computer with specific software. Otherwise it just looks gimmicky. Adding cartoonish special effects won’t necessarily improve it.
That’s true, i like how smooth the results are using the Dji Mimo app however, I hope it will also be available in 4K. I still prefer using the native camera app to create my hyper-lapse even though it a bit more of a workaround.
How did you check that the phone was balanced correctly? You say it all the time, but I can't find a video of you actually doing it.
You have to make sure you balance you gimbal on an even surface. You want the evenly distributed so that the phone os not falling on one side. Also run a calibration though the Dji mimo app for optimal performance :)
