Thanks as always for sharing smartphone videography tips here. one question regarding AF/AE lock. how do you deal with the settings when e.g. shooting a panning forward b-roll in which you don’t have a clear subject like a person which should be in focus? i don’t want the exposure to be changed but if i lock settings and move forward it may results in a scene that isn’t sharp at all time
Sometimes you can get away with leaving the settings in auto. If the changes are to drastic, the it will be best to use a pro video app that gives you control over focus and exposure separately.

Hey! I found your tutorial on the Smart XE on TH-cam and it was so helpful. I’m trying to do more video content for my business but I really like cinematic mode and couldn’t see that option in the smart XE app, do you know if I can do a portrait mode style? Thank you so much!

Great content as always, got a question for ya, Why do you allow the reuse of your videos on creative commons... if someone decided to use your videos on TH-cam and basically clone your channel, surely you would ask them to take them down... just wondering as I've never understood why quality channels allow it, when there is obviously thousands of people searching TH-cam specifically to find channels like yours.
Anyway great stuff pal, I'm so tempted to get one of these gimbals.
Thanks a lot! Haven‘t thought about it that much. I guess if other creators would want to feature me in their videos and use parts of it, thats okey with me. But yes regarding copying my channel, this could be amazing issue. I‘d have to look deeper in to that to see what would make sense. Thanks for pointing that put though :)
@@BenettGraezer I'm pretty sure youtubes fair use policy covers other creators being able to feature parts of your videos as long as it has commentary and your channel is mentioned. The reason I mentioned it is because so far I've seen 2 whole channels cloned over onto rumble, both run under the same account, I emailed the guy to make sure it wasn't the actual creator, he admitted he took them all with some ai tool, but he did nothing wrong because all the videos are under creative commons license (reuse allowed) ... and the creator has to click that licence so they intend to allow its reuse... and he's right... I'd be pissed if I'd put all those hundred of hours of effort and hard work making videos and editing, just to have some lazy idiot just lift the lot and make money at your expense.
I'll shut up now 🤣 .
