There are lots of other channel in TH-cam giving tutorials about creating beautiful, cinematic videos on an Iphone but there are only few who managed to back them up with solid proof.
You, sir, definitely one of these few. That video is beyond beautiful.
Proof that you don't just have the technical ability but also the taste.
Solid tips, concise presentation as well.
Excellently done.
The 15 PM is insane 🔥🚀🫣
Love how all your vids are so packed full of great info! I never realized for angles communicate so much without words. Thanks!
This deserves some type of award or something! So many good parts in this but my favourite has to be the fade of the music transition into the aquatic scene with the sea lion & the audio and visual 👏👏👏👏👏👏
🙏 thanks for the kind words
you are godsent joey !!!!! AMAZING WORK AND THANK YOU for the tips! loved it
Loving it,❤ Dude this video it worth my time thank you for revealing you editing and shooting secrets😊 it gave ideas that I have never know thank you soo much. Love from india

Insanely cool to share the bts and edit of this epic video. Thank you sir
This would be the best editing breakdown I’ve ever seen! Great work, Sir!
Thanks so much :)
Thanks for the tips! Love the Chicago video!
This the best colour grading I have seen. I like the aquarium shot feels like shooting in the water. One thing you could do is as zooming in hit the water effect on the lense as you are going in
cant thank you enough how help full this video is for me.. thank you so much such a great information about editing.. want more tutorials like this in future .. love from India
Thank you for showing the versatility of the native app along with uses of all three lenses! So many folks say “only use this app” or “only use the 1x lens”… or “you gotta use accessory lenses”… it’s refreshing to see that’s not really the case. 👍🏻
Not a fan of additional lenses. Just extra glass that is in most cases not of high quality.
Thank you for sharing, learned a ton out of it to apply.
I learn so much here! Thanks Joey..
Haremos lo mismo en Copiapó, Chile. Gracias por inspirarnos, amigo.
Extremely helpful, thank you for your generosity Joey! I'll post your link on my site.
thanks man. not many youtubers show the whole process. this is really helpful for learning!
More than happy to share. I learned it all here.
WOW!!! What a class... filled with so much knowledge on how to take filming to the next level. This for this tutorial
Yay! 🙌 have fun!!

Very cool breakdown. My wife and I did the architectural boat ride and it’s amazing. Learn so much about the buildings and the city.
It’s a great tour isn’t it? :)

Thanks a million! Happy they are helpful! 😇
I’m watching this while staying in Chicago for the first time since I moved away several years ago and I’m feeling so nostalgic for shooting these streets… I’m here with my 15pm which I got for working in social media but I haven’t gotten the chance to use it much for personal content making. I wish so deeply that I had time for a street shoot but it was a quick visit before I head back to the northeast mountains.
Well then shoot wherever you go 🎉
One of the most useful video that I’ve ever seen ❤ thank you 🙏
Thank you so much for sharing your gifts and talents like this. I'm just learning about documentary style shooting and was debating between iphone 14 or 15 pro. You totally explained the marvels of the iphone 15pro and your editing tips and skills are exceptional. Best video I've seen on modern cinematography, bar none.
Makes me very happy you shared this 🙏
Great tutorial! Thanks for that
Your videos are amazing!! Thank you for teaching!
Happy to hear that :)
Awesome episode, would be interesting if you had an edit breakdown using the phone and not moving to a desk or laptop. Maybe you can not use the effects as a desktop machine but to pull off a shot and an edit using only the iphone would be dope.
Thanks a lot
This is great tutorial. It includes from the fundamentals to being a pro. Kudos!
amazing and helpful tutorial
It really take a lot of work, patience and planning to make good videos!
I love ur jacket!

Hey :) Hope you're doing great! Thanks immensely for this video. I was thinking about you yesterday man.Thinking you should create an online course of an expanded version of this video. Your talent and knowledge really shines in all your videos. We're drawn in. Love them! They're inspirational! 👍
I agree. I'm a new viewer and I found my way here because I upgraded my phone and new levels, new devils. And you solved it for me @JoeyHelms
Bro you’re a stud! 🔥

More of this please!! Thank you ❤❤ I made a City-Film some weeks ago about the German city Hamburg.. (I can only recommend to travel there 😉) Very impressive what you’ve done!!❤

Where I can see this Hamburg Movie?
Beste Grüße 🇩🇪
Didn‘t uploaded it, krass vieviele deutschsprachige hier sind 😀

Ja Hamburg ist ne gute Idee ;)
@@Joey_Helms You speak german? 😉❤️I shot the city movie with a little inspiration from your last city movie with the iPhone 14....❤️ I can only recommend Hamburg for the iPhone 16 😏(„Elphie“, „Speicherstadt“, and more)
Beautifully
This is the best tutorial I’ve seen on the whole process! Thanks Joey, you have a new subscriber!

@@Joey_Helms And you give personal replies too?? Thanks dude!

So good. thnx for you time to explain
Glad it was helpful!
Nice video...thanks for sharing :)
Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩❤️
🖤
Amazing tips and tricks with the iPhone. I need to upgrade lol but the 13 pro is ok for me at the moment. Could you explain a bit more how you shot the hyperlapses ?? Was it literally sped up video or actual photos ? Did you use the DJI app to lock onto a subject ?? Thanks again. I’ve subbed already lol.
so talented. thank you.
Thanks for the kind words :)
fantastic work. what kind of iphone did you have 15 pro or 15 pro max? I'm wondering whether the larger screen is such a great added value or whether it's a hindrance when film
Thank you so much for sharing this kind of proces of meking your beautiful art. learn alot from here. i just wondering what plugins you use to make zoom and move up motion as adjustment layer?
