  • Her'e my acoustic slide guitar version of the Willie Dixon classic spoonful. My lyrics deviate slightly from the original as I learned it 20 years ago and always do it off the top of my head - very much acceptable in blues.

    Blues da melhor qualidade!
O violão dele lembra a viola nordestina, muito usada por músicos repentistas do nordeste brasileiro.

From what I have read on old blues jargon a spoonful or also known as a loving spoonful referred to the volume of a man's ejaculate. I'm sure that the band The Loving Spoonful thought it was hilarious when they were on the scene and nobody was the wiser on where their name came from and what it referred to.

      @@toddburgess6792 I don't know of Jack White.
Have you heard of the 'Bonzo Dog doo-dah Band?
But then, that was around the time I saw Howlin' Wolf, in London.
      Cream were still together.

@@elmonte5lim I do not know of the 'Bonzo Dog doo-dah Band, but I do remember when Cream were together. I was a pre-teen. You saw Howlin' Wolf in London, that's cool. I've never been to England, not likely I ever will. :-(

    • @elmonte5lim
      @elmonte5lim ปีที่แล้ว +3

@@toddburgess6792 The Bonzos recorded a track on one of their albums, the name of which escapes me for the moment, although I have the vinyl.
      It includes the lyrics:
'Can blue men sing the whites? (which may, well be the title)
Or are they hypocrites?' (pronounced to rhyme)
In any event, if you're interested, you can probably track them down on Wikipedia, along with albums and track listings.
      Failing that, there's Google.
Actually, if you search on this platform, you may find some examples of their music, but give 'Urban Spaceman' a miss, it's not typical, their record company wanted a single that was commercial.
I can, pretty-much guarantee that you won't have heard anything like their stuff.
Some nice grass would help to get into the swing of things.
      ;)
      The sixties!
Ya had to have been there!
