Interesting video. I love seeing your interaction with your animals. Wise decision you made about Ghostface's broken leg. I have found that veterinarians won't think outside the box at times. I had a similar situation where a vet could not see a solution other than putting an animal down. Years ago, my wife and I had a very cute, long-haired kitten. Kitten was quite young, maybe 10 or 12 weeks old. We came home one day to find the kitten could not hold its head up any longer. We took the kitten to the vet and were told the kitten must have fallen on its head during play. The kitten had torn off the tendons that attach to the kittens skull, which allow it to look up and hold its head in an upright position. I asked about surgery to reattach the tendons, but the vet did not think it would work. I asked about a brace to hold the kittens head up, but that was also dismissed. The vet thought the kitten should be put down. The kitten did not show any signs of being in pain. It still ate and drank. I decided to bring the kitten back home and made a neck brace that would hold its head in a natural upright position. I took a empty toilet paper roll, cut it down in length to fit the kitten. I padded it well and secured the homemade brace around the kittens neck. Long story short, the tendons reattached as the kitten healed. Kitten grew into an awesome cat with no sign of the injury. Sometimes, you just have to take a chance !

Lowes has gone downhill over the past 6-7 years. Sears was the best. I am so sad they all closed. Hey, you should buy Mr Mo a mister fan! I tell you what, mine is a lifesaver on hot days! It doesn't have to be like the huge ones they use at football games 😂 They come in all sizes
I have had hit and miss with Home Depot and Lowe's over the years. I think it's just whoever you're dealing with at the time as far as Associates go now if I need something I will ask for a manager. Sorry you had to go through that I know how that feels. Frustrating yes but it's not life-changing and we always get over it Harriet love how you love your animals and your land. We bought a big gas grill from Lowe's for a family event & my husband paid to have it delivered, we lived about 45 miles away. The box was undamaged, but we found the lid had a big piece broken off of a back corner, near the hinge. They refused to bring a replacement & take the damaged one back. They said we could bring the damaged lid in & they'd exchange it. When he got to the store, no one would help him & they were just standing around talking. They pointed towards the back & said he could just find what he needed & bring it back to the service desk, then they'd process the exchange. That was almost 20 yrs ago & no one from our family has stepped into a Lowe's since.
They have been nice to me. 😊 Just got to get the right manager 😀😀❤❤❤❤

Hey guys! Poor Mojo, my big German Shepherd/Husky mix HATES the fireworks! Poor girl around here they start on the 3rd and stop on 5th or 6th. This yr neighbors on all sides went nuts and I'll admit some of them flipped me out, but I had to stay home with her and that big girl only wanted to squeeze herself up under my recliner like she did as a pup lol. So mom (me) had to sit right there. My Yorkie, she was growling and barking like crazy wanting to kill the loud booms😂 crazy how they all are so different. Ya know my son has found a few things at Lowes or Home Depot scratch and dent but he's had all great luck. I have friends that haven't tho.. sending prayers that things Grey better and sweet lil Mojo can stay cool and calm. Take care guys, God Bless y'all🙏🏼❤️
I found out from you Kevin it's learn as you go when you own a farm. These homestead video's are real good teachers of what and what not to do. You have a good thing going for you. When are you going to plant a garden again? I can't wait tell your chicken coop is finished. You always have good ideas when building something for your animals. I would love to have that crazy chicken laying those giant eggs. 🤣❤❤❤

Our English Mastiff is Terrified of fireworks noises, but the Labs don't seem too worried. Our horses don't like it either.

I love Great Pyrenees, and Mojo reminds me of my childhood Great Pyrenees! It looks like he needs his ears cleaned or wiped out.. I remember having to clean my dogs ears every week during the summer. Y'all have Mojo, mine was named Alexander, "the Great Pyrenees!" He had the same demeanor as Mojo. Glad he has such a wonderful home!

Russell is really beautiful, it looks like a very peaceful day at the farm all the animals are relaxed no sign of Smeggle or Leasky. The emu are strolling past and Mojo is having a nice cool nap in the dirt. Glad to learn you insist on saving the goats leg. Thanks for the video.

My son bought a refrigerator, stove and washer and dryer from Lowes to be delivered and set up. Not only did they forget ALL the connection parts but they didn't have any racks for the stove oven. When they called Lowes they told him he would have to call LG directly that they did not handle it. He ended up driving an hour to store in Clarksville, TN and paid for connections. It took him over a month to get the racks. Lowes has really gone downhill.
I would never buy appliances frome a home improvement store. They are more about wood, nails, screws and power tools than appliances. That's what appliance stores are for.
My experience with Lowe’s you have to purchase the connection parts at the same time. The salesperson should have told you. The same thing happened to us.

We have PaloVerde Beetles…very interesting large beetle. They crawl out of the ground, from under PaloVerde trees, fly, swarm, mate and die. Do not want that life for sure 😂 your Oak trees are probably the June Bug mating tree!

I use to work for Lowe's. They don't dispose the used appliances. They send them to a shop . If they can be fixed, they fix them and resale them. I've gone on many deliveries. I worked in the garden center but when they needed someone to go on a delivery I would go. We have a Lowe's distribution center now 4 miles from my house and we are getting an Amazon distribution center next door to Lowe's distribution center. Here in the Alexandria Louisiana area.
They are also supposed to hook everything up and make sure it's right!!!! Lowes will be losing a lot of business!!!! Thank you for a great video.😅😅😅😅😅. June bugs love you😂.
Replace a 9 month old dishwasher. So I ended up calling the warranty department. After a year. They sent me a gift card and I was able to buy any dishwasher of my choice. Went with a kitchen aide, I absolutely love it. Will never buy from lowes again!

I have spent thousands of dollars at Lowe’s but I am done with them. We’ve been trying to get new double front doors since March of ‘23. Here it is July, 24 & still no doors. The problem has mostly to do with manufacturing defects. We’re waiting for the 5th set now. The 4th set was wrong due to Lowe’s ordering the wrong swing. The 5th came in but was damaged in shipping. So now we’re expecting the second 5th set any day now. The biggest problem out of all this has been communication with Lowe’s. They are devilish hard to get in touch with. After this is finally done, WE are done!
Love watching your videos. I live in the UK but have travelled extensively over USA on road trips for the last 10 years. What a lovely life you have there. I know is probably hard work but I just love seeing all the animals, especially Mo and Russell. Is also fascinating to hear about your extremes in the weather. Wish you all well.

Bummer on the washing machine! The last one I had delivered got a big scratch and dent to the side as they were unloading it, and the company that did the delivery downright told that they weren't allowed to give me a damaged one, because you never know what damage has been done to the inside, and just wanted me to see it for myself. Got my replacement machine right the next day. Hope your issue can be resolved quickly.
My dog is the same way. Hates loud noises!
Kevin, when I was going to the dr today, I was admiring every thing green, cos we’ve had lots of rain too, the corn is starting to tassel, it just was nice to admire it, last year everything was all brown already ❤❤❤❤❤
We have scrap metal come by our house every week. Sometimes they have a trailer packed. They come every Monday.

I'm 83 and my daddy would tie string on June bugs leg for me and my two younger sisters..we would have so much fun running around with a pet junebug😂on a string😊❤

I haven't been too happy with Lowes, myself. Had a variety of lumber and other building materials scheduled for a deliver and when I did receive it, it turned out the order had sat outside overnight at their facility and it had stormed. While the lumber was for a deck project, some of the odd items were not meant for outdoor use and I had to return the water logged items for an exchange. Not to mention the siding I had also ordered was damaged by the banding. I paid them to deliver it, safe and sound, not for me to return it on their behalf. Not one apology, just very curt customer service to get my refund/exchange over with. While those at customer service had nothing to do with the order, a "sorry for the inconvenience" on behalf of the company would have been the least they could do.
Sounds like everyone else in customer service these days. They don't know, and don't care that their actions are a direct reflection of the company they work for. They also don't realize that if it weren't for the people that are literally standing in front of them, they wouldn't have a job. It's sad.
@@Vicki_and_JimC. True and sad. I didn't demand anything, didn't get angry, but I walked away thinking it would have been nice to get some verbal sympathy. But that might have been them admitting some wrong and taking accountability. I did express my dissatisfaction on the purchase survey but never heard anything from that either.
Oh well, I had to purchase more lumber this month to finish off my project and I went a little further down the road to Menards to get it this time.
I work for a small company that sells motorcycle parts and accessories and provide mechanical services. Today a customer came in at 9am for an appointment he made online to get all three oils and a filter changed on his Harley Davidson. Our mechanic didn't come in because he hurt his back the day before. My manager called him to inform him we needed to change his appointment, but there was no answer. I asked him how long does it take him to get here and he said 35 - 40 minutes. I rescheduled him for tomorrow morning at 10 and told him I personally would call him to let him know if our mechanic came in or not. Even though I personally has nothing to do with our mechanic not coming in, before he left I apologized to him for the inconvenience because that's what's supposed to be done. People should think and put themselves in their customers shoes and show them curtsey and compassion. It really goes a long way and in the end even though the may not be happy they do appreciate the gesture acknowledging a mistake was done by the company.
this is so common now..it's because we let our kids be raised by media and convinced ourselves that it was ok fir our kids to play video games..at least we knew where they were..they have no social skills no want or desire to work..most don't even say please or thank you..it's sad what we have created..
@@tiggercampbell6198 Yes, a lot of people raised their kids that way. It may have been easier but, what they've done to their kids is a disservice and deprived them of a well balanced childhood. They literally did nothing to prepare them for adulthood. As for me, my husband and I didn't have children, so we take no responsibility for the mess these people have created. ✌️

Ive had two LG washers and dryers. No problems, they lasted several years past the warrantee. And so quiet! But i bought my first one from Home Depot and just replaced it this year. Their delivery and setup was great. I like LG brand so much i just bought a new fridge and stove (my first new ones!). I have caregivers that use the appliances as I'm not able to anymore and they are all very happy with them. One has gone out and bought a new LG washer herself! Did i say how quiet they are? And the musical alerts instead of raucous alarms at the end of a cycle!

I was researching LG washers and found there are a bunch of unhappy LG customers. According to what I saw, LG quality seems to have gone the way of Boeing’s management, buying chit quality parts for the lowest price, no matter what problems they cause and lasting less than a year before they broke. Apparently this is the new trend in appliance manufacturing, bad parts junked together into one very high priced POS. Best of luck in getting this right.
Boy it looked like Mojo was giving you dirty looks when you were talking about the fireworks! And i used to have a Beagle who loved to hunt & eat June Bugs! We'd have to force him to come in at dusk & afterwards because he'd stand under the porch light & get after the June Bugs!

My experience with Lowes delivery is that they didn't show up on the scheduled day. When I called the following day, I was told it would be another week before they delivered in my area. When they finally got here a week later, they brought the wrong appliance. So, I had to wait another week. Do I have to say I was not happy. Lol

Here in north Louisiana it got pretty scary with so man tornado warnings late yesterday evening. This morning it was very nice with low humidity and temps but wind gusts up to 25 mph. It was so nice. But temps did get to 91. Even that was a break from 100!
We got a floor model side by side, never again!
Poor Mojo. I’m with him. Hate fireworks 💥. Houses close together & there are dozens who compete to see who has the biggest & loudest. Night after night 🙄
Awesome that it’s cooled off some for you. We’re getting 80’s temps now but the humidity is way up. It feels like it’s in the high 90’s. But we’re going to have a cool down next week in north Iowa.
