Thank You very much for those kind words. It is always nice to remembered for something done so long ago. It also makes me very excited about my new upcoming venture that is going to knock everyone's socks off.............or so I hope.................Once again, thanks. David Gadberry
You are very much correct. When the agreement was made to do this show it was to the understanding that neither I and Lou Lou were to have any members from either side in the audience. Lou Lou violated that by stacking the audience. Phil was great after the show by going off on The Lou Lou about this. When the show faded to black at the end the audience came to the stage grabbing me and praying for me to the point that four security guards hard to surround me to get me off the stage. David
I concur with DramaJunkie. You are a brave man, a PIONEER in gay soap opera. I salute you, and you deserve a lot of kudos! DramaJunkie stated it well. You opened up the way, in whatever way, for Queer as Folk and The L Word to become not only aired, but to become hits! Thank you over and over! :D
I'm so blown away at how far the gay community has come. These days if someone said something like Mr Sheldon was spewing out, he'd be booed off the stage. We've come a long way but still much more to go.
Wow - when you watch a video like this you realize how far the LGBT community has come, along with the attitudes of the general population. I'm so very thankful my openly gay son is living in a very different time with a loving family, a wonderful partner, a supportive work environment, and a very real possibility of true equality. Yet, without trailblazers like yourself, Mr. Gadberry, life could be very different for him and so many others. I hope life and love have been good to you!
It's so funny to watch this in 2015 and see just how wrong these people were. "what are our children going to watch?" "we shouldn't have shows about drug dealers too should we?" Breaking Bad says hello haha Man how BRAVE these guys are for doing this segment.
Thank you for your very kind words and that your son is living his life as it was meant to be.......as himself.
