My Dad had a 57 dodge sierra station wagon.
We went on road trips with it. Very very comfortable.

Yes extremely rare, in my humble opinion the 1957 DeSoto Fireflite Explorer was the ultimate mopar wagon from 1957 to 1959. Yes available options for this halo model were quite incredible, befitting this lofty status. Duel AC front and rear, not so well known duel rear arials, factory only order, power swivel front seats. 3 stage push button automatic transmission. Power steering, brakes, windows all round going on to a total of almost 20 further options/extras. Not forgetting the famous Hemi. This ending is sad, because it will become just another jacked up hot rod, whatever. But thanks for sharing this videl. An opportunity perhaps missed?

Yes it is. I am not particularly a fan of Station Wagon but this one is very rare and has an interesting story.

That's a very nice and very rare car they had the 57 DeSoto Fireflite and they had the 57 DeSoto FireSweep the FireFlite came with the hemi and the FireSweep came with the Dodge poly engine the Fireflyte is more of the top of the line wagon then the FireSweep but still both rare wagons that's for sure

Yes, thats true. It's a rare car. But I know another 57 Fireflite Explorer in Sweden. The Frame with the double 4bbl intake looks like a 57 DeSoto Aventurer Convertible Frame. I have keen interest who is the new owner of this particular car. By the way, the 341 from the Fireflite has 295 HP, while the motor on the frame from an Adventurer has 345
