I just want to point out, the interpretive dancing is purposefully meant to steal focus from Eden. “Someone stole the moon tonight, took my light, everything is black and white”It’s supposed to look chaotic and weird. It’s supposed to symbolise the young dancers of Nova panicking, running for their lives. This song should make you uncomfortable, should make you tear up. It’s not political to sing about loss and mourning. To tribute to those who died, those who are still fighting for life, those who are struggling to mourn in this “hurricane”.

The truth is, the song describes the mental attack of an entire nation (Israel) that went through and is going through a deadly hurricane in our beautiful country. The tribute in the song is in memory of beautiful people who went to dance and have fun at the "Nova" nature party and over 350 were slaughtered and more than 2000 people were seriously injured. I personally don't care if we win or not, Eden conveys in the song the feelings that every Israeli citizen experiences inside. Beyond that, artistically, she has a very rare voice and a crazy song in all respects. As a former Israeli, you should know this, but thank you for the nice response to the song.

The song is nice. Its the video that really gets me every single time. Too many subtle references to the Nova party massacre. Flashing lights for the shooting. The red sunrise for when the attack started. The dancers in white as for angels. The bullet hole in her shirt.
The group of dancers when the video start, they running away, like hiding when terrorist enter the Nova music festival in the morning of October 7th, 6:40am. if you notice the video is outdoor in nature, like in Nova festival. Young Pepole that want to celebrate music and life found themself in one of the worst terror attack in the world. Imagne the dancers like those young Pepole "dancing" and need to hide and runaway, very sad and horrible.

You didnt get the meaning of the dancers at all- at the begining of the song you can see how the terrorists sneak in the Kibutzes behind our backs. Then you can see how the victims tried to hide and stick close together to protect themselves from the bullets and the granades. Interesting thet you didn't get it.... The group of dancers when the video start, they running away, like hiding when terrorist enter the Nova music festival in the morning of October 7th, 6:40am. if you notice the video is outdoor in nature, like in Nova festival. Young Pepole that want to celebrate music and life found themself in one of the worst terror attack in the world. Imagne the dancers like those young Pepole "dancing" and need to hide and runaway, very sad and horrible.

Unfortunately, it will probably happen that the people vote with a political background, but as all artists claim, music unites the world to peace, but here it is the other way around. Strange as I believe that music and art are the only things that can unite the world, but tragically, people really hate Jews and that they even defend their own country. I'm not Jewish, but I'm more into what the music and lyrics are about, not what the state of Israel is doing. Hooray for Eden Golan and her wonderful voice and against all odds she does everything with joy and heart. Back to the sadness of all music-loving people who had to put their lives on hold until Oct 7, 2023.
Really, as a former Israeli I expected a little more from you. Being non-political and neutral is fair, but you came off a bit superficial and too cautious. You can talk about the content, without getting into politics. This is an excellent song by all accounts. Stands out above all, Eden is amazing!! She deserves to be in the top 5 !! ❤

shirt was done like that on purpose; I think it represents the bullet holes from all the terror, and maybe shootings to the heart.
When she sings - Love will never die, no no - there is no hole in the shirt. Thats a strong powerful moment of healing. She looks very strong.
But later there is a hole again, because it is a long process, but the healing will come. There is always a little light. ❤

You didnt get the meaning of the dancers at all-
at the begining of the song you can see how the terrorists sneak in the Kibutzes
behind our backs.
Then you can see how the victims tried to hide and stick close together
to protect themselves from the bullets and the granades.
Interesting thet you didn't get it....
Also- the hole in her shirt symbolize the bullet that went stright to our hearts.
As an Israeli I would expect from you to realize that.

It's sad to see Israeli's in the diaspora so scared and "uncomfortable" to react to this song...to first comment on her shirt and hair and the "silly" dancers, it's almost like you didn't want to like it and then to almost apologize for appreciating this heartfelt song that sings to our collective pain. I too am an Israeli in the diaspora, and I am very proud of this song and my country. The haters will hate us no matter what we do, this song is magical and it's MORE than ok to say so.
