The song is a love song for all the people who got murdered and tortured by hamas on the 7.10 of October massacre, the song also critique westerners who hates on Israel without even knowing our history ,culture and even about the 7.10 of October massacre and talk hate and lies about us
The song is not about a relationship. The song describes the state of Israel after the events of October 7th. The sentence that says in the comments "we will dance again" is aimed at the murdered people at the Nova festival. Now that you understand the meaning of the song listen to it again and realize how powerful it is.

i kind of like it when listeners are not aware of this context.. they react to the art, and the words of the song can easily work for a breakup or any kind of personal loss. it's human experience and art is great connecting humans!
Ok but so far the only hostages murdered are those killed by IDF so what is the reaction to that? Have not seen an outrage over israeli forces not giving a damn about the hostages when demolishing Gaza so i couldn't help but think that the hostages are a priority might not really be the truth...

A tree in Judaism is a symbol of life. In the video it is turned upside down and this symbolizes those who look at us from Heaven... Two worlds, like a mirror image. Thank you for your honest review❤ We speek Hebrew in Israel😊 Which is the holy language of the jews😉 We are very proud in Eden and the song that means so much to us after the 7th of October😢💔 We are still broken since then, but we will rize and dance again.
The song is dedicated to the victims of the Nova music festival on Oct 7th massacre. Israel's language is Hebrew, of course. Israel has been a member of the Eurovision since the 70"s, I think, and won 4 times so far. Thank you for keeping an open mind about the song, leaving politics out. These are very difficult times, and I applaud Eden for taking the task of representing our country. Unfortunately, she is about to encounter lots of hate in Malmo, and it's not going to be easy.
Thank you for your review for Eden Golan. You are one of the few who do the right thing, don't mix politics with music. Eden has an incredible voice and charisma. Unfortunately, it still seems to be the case that Jews are in low esteem, but unfortunately artists all over Europe are spineless and prefer politics to music and art. Delle in Sweden
"Everyone knows what happened that morning. The sun rose and for many people it was the last light they saw in their lives. I knew that in the end the music video should end with the sun rising. With the light that defeats the darkness. That the music video should be as dark as possible, but in the end the sun will shine and illuminate everything. We wanted to end with optimism" "Throughout the clip, we planted a tension between light and darkness. In one of the scenes in the clip, the light actually tries to penetrate through the slits, we hung a flashlight on a dolly and moved the light. I wanted there to be a struggle. For the light to try to enter and not succeed - until at the end the sun rises. In Nova there are people for whom, unfortunately, it was the light The last they saw, but some people took advantage. This moment is dedicated to them." "There is an image in Kabbalah, which has accompanied me for years, ever since I was a student, that the Jewish person is upside down. His roots are planted in the sky, not in the ground." A tree in Judaism is a symbol of life. In the video it is turned upside down and this symbolizes those who look at us from Heaven. "What does it matter in the end what I meant? This clip invites discussion, invites people to feel - like any work of art" "Even though her default is something big, a diva, a pop star, she connected to the concept from the first moment. To minimalism. There was an understanding that something different was needed, to convey the truth and not to go for something trendy. I asked Aden to think that she is entering a museum and seeing a piece that pulsates her, which is the feeling that we We want to create. It's love and she was with us from the first moment, it's not obvious." That's what the director of the music video said Regarding the circle of dancers wearing white, some will say that at the beginning of the song, the dancers in the clip wear white clothes, as a reference to the celebrations of the Jewish holiday Simchat Torah in white on the kibbutz lawns, during which the terrorist attack on Israel broke out, and at the end of the clip they changed to black clothes that symbolize the grief and pain we went through - transition from holiday to war. The clip represents the dancers at the Nova peace festival and the citizens in the kibbutzim in southern Israel. Thank you so so much for your support! love from Israel
I am absolutely mesmorized by this song. It is awesome, and Eden Golan: you are the PRIDE of your country ISRAEL. I cannot stop listening to this song. It deserved first place in my opinion. Yes?
She is going to Win ❤❤GOD bless her and protect her with all the Palestinians and antisemitism in malmo where the Eurovision is being held .Go get them Eden 🎉🎉🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱👍👍
The song came to present what happened on the seventh of October. The dancers in the video introduce the people who came to spread light and love. It shows the murdered people who danced at the Nova festival in Israel. For us the date was really a hurricane She says there in one of the sentences, promise me you'll hold me again. Here she mentions the abductees from their point of view and their thoughts. The upside down tree shows the feeling of the people in Israel. We feel that our roots have been uprooted and our world has been completely turned upside down since October 7th.In addition to this, the upside-down tree shows the hundreds of families who somehow managed to escape from the terrible range and were displaced from their homes when Hamas entered the settlements where they lived and destroyed everything. Thank you for your support and kind words. Peace and love from Israel
The language at the end is Hebrew and Israel is , like Cyprus, a member of the European Broadcasting Union which is the criterion for participation aside from the one exception, Australia which is allowed to participate also because they love the contest so much and asked nicely. The song can be interpreted, as all music can, by the listener and if it strikes a chord with you you fill it with your own meanings. Obviously, from the point of view of the writers it was meant to reflect the storm of emotions released by the mass slaughter of of over 1000 Israeli citizens on the morning of Oct 7th and the continued hostage situation but it is vague enough to be open to many other interpretations too. Glad you enjoyed it .
Israel has been participating in Eurovision for some 50 years, since 1973 (and even won several times...) for the simple reason that: Israel is in the EBU and the European Broadcasting Area.
The line in the song about here baby which she is praying to hold again, is about her love/son/brother which is in the war . The Hurricane is the chaos feelings` in our country. Let me translate for you the last 4 lines in Hebrew please: "No need for big words, Only prayers, Even if it's hard to see, You always leave me one little light".
The song is about sorrow. About death. About losing someone. You can explain it about love. I think you are right. Its about broken heart. Its not matter how the heart got broken.
🇸🇪👋🇮🇪 That would be Hebrew sung at the end. I hope this ends in the top 3 - perhaps even win here in Sweden. It's such a heartfelt song, my wish is that Eden will prove the haters wrong. 🇸🇪💗🇮🇪💗🇮🇱
Actually thats totally normal to have a personal take and identification with lyrics. Thats the power of sharing feelings through songs. Love from Israel❤❤❤
First of all, thank you for your response. Second, the sentence at the end is in Hebrew, and it means (in free practice, in Hebrew it rhymes...) no need for big words, just prayers, even if it's hard to see you always leave me one little light. And regarding the Biebs family, this is the family of Jordan and Shiri (32) and their four-year-old Ariel and one-year-old Kafir who were kidnapped to the Gaza Strip along with the other abductees in the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel on 7/10. With love to all supporters, from invincible Israel ❤️🇮🇱🎗
Thanks for the video: She speaks Hebrew in the end and says: It doesn't need big words, only prayer, and even if it is hard to see: You always leave me a small light
If you listen to Taxi and Dopamine you will see that Eden Golan is probably the most talented vocalist in the competition, her ability to hit that low register falceto then hig register at the end without sounding like it is forced or strained is that of a skilled vocalist. She kind of gives me a bebe rexha feel

Writers of the history
Stand with me
Look into my eyes and see
People go away but never say goodbye
Someone stole the moon tonight
Took my light
Everything is black and white
Who’s the fool who told you
Boys don’t cry?
Hours and hours and flowers
Life is no game for the cowards
Why does time go wild?
Every day I’m loosing my mind
Holding on in this mysterious ride
Dancing in the storm
We got nothing to hide
Take me home
And leave the world behind
Baby promise me that never again
I’m still wet from this october rain

Living in a fantasy

Everything’s meant to be
We shall pass but love will never die
Hours and hours and flowers

Why does time go wild?

We are still broken since then, but we will rize and dance again.
Love from 🇺🇸 Israel you are a winner 🇮🇱🇮🇱❤️❤️💕
Hi! Canadian?! (shirt...) Cool review. She has great vocals. Fab entry from Israel. 12 pts! :)
Im irish but my gf from Canada 🇨🇦!! Thank you!! 🙏

The sun was because they were murdered at sunrise. In loving memory of the dancers butchered at the Nova Festival of Peace on October 7th 💔🇮🇱💔

We wanted to end with optimism"
"Throughout the clip, we planted a tension between light and darkness. This moment is dedicated to them."
"There is an image in Kabbalah, which has accompanied me for years, ever since I was a student, that the Jewish person is upside down. His roots are planted in the sky, not in the ground." A tree in Judaism is a symbol of life. In the video it is turned upside down and this symbolizes those who look at us from Heaven.
"What does it matter in the end what I meant? This clip invites discussion, invites people to feel - like any work of art"
"Even though her default is something big, a diva, a pop star, she connected to the concept from the first moment. To minimalism. There was an understanding that something different was needed, to convey the truth and not to go for something trendy. I asked Aden to think that she is entering a museum and seeing a piece that pulsates her, which is the feeling that we We want to create. It's love and she was with us from the first moment, it's not obvious."
That's what the director of the music video said
Regarding the circle of dancers wearing white, some will say that at the beginning of the song, the dancers in the clip wear white clothes, as a reference to the celebrations of the Jewish holiday Simchat Torah in white on the kibbutz lawns, during which the terrorist attack on Israel broke out, and at the end of the clip they changed to black clothes that symbolize the grief and pain we went through - transition from holiday to war. The clip represents the dancers at the Nova peace festival and the citizens in the kibbutzim in southern Israel.
Thank you so so much for your support! love from Israel
It's for those who died at the Nova Dance Festival, and others that day. Love this song. Do hope she wins. ❤Am Yisrael Chai. FromScotland.🎉🎉🎉🎉
I am absolutely mesmorized by this song. It is awesome, and Eden Golan: you are the PRIDE of your country ISRAEL. I cannot stop listening to this song. It deserved first place in my opinion. Yes?
Go EDEN❤️❤️❤️❤️
She is going to Win ❤❤GOD bless her and protect her with all the Palestinians and antisemitism in malmo where the Eurovision is being held .Go get them Eden 🎉🎉🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱👍👍
Superb voice . Very emotional. Should have been the winner.
Thank you , love from Israel🇮🇱💙
Welcome to my home town Malmö, Israel!! ❤ this song is the best! I hope youll win!! ❤❤❤
Awesome🎉
Thank you! Cheers!
12 points from the UK 🇬🇧❤️ The song is more about October 7 massacre of wonderful innocent people in Israel. God bless Israel 🇮🇱
the hurricane is october 7th massacre, it talks about the murdered, the hostages and the survivors.
She is amazing!!!
Love from Canada!!!! 🇮🇱 🇮🇱 🇮🇱
LOVE FROM IRELAND GOING TO CANADA FOR 6 WEEKS NEXT WEEK
Israel has been participating in Eurovision for some 50 years, since 1973 (and even won several times...) for the simple reason that: Israel is in the EBU and the European Broadcasting Area.
This is the best song !! ❤❤12 pts ❤❤
EDEN is amazing !!! Great vocals !!! 🎉🎉🎉
She is insane good 🇧🇷🇮🇱
She’s really good
So beautiful song wow❤
Thank you. Especially because you are Irish. It have to be appreciated.
You look so young.
Wow, thank you
She is singing on the m,asecar at the nova festival. 350 young souls left us in the most brootal way u can imajin
Absolutely deserved to Win its a masterpiece ❤Thank you for your support

Its good!
We will dance again and forever!! IL 💙💙💙💙
Actually thats totally normal to have a personal take and identification with lyrics.
Thats the power of sharing feelings through songs.
Love from Israel❤❤❤
Thank u for supporing and warm reaction ❤❤❤love sooo much from israel❤❤❤
First of all, thank you for your response. Second, the sentence at the end is in Hebrew, and it means (in free practice, in Hebrew it rhymes...) no need for big words, just prayers, even if it's hard to see you always leave me one little light. And regarding the Biebs family, this is the family of Jordan and Shiri (32) and their four-year-old Ariel and one-year-old Kafir who were kidnapped to the Gaza Strip along with the other abductees in the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel on 7/10. With love to all supporters, from invincible Israel ❤️🇮🇱🎗
beautifull 12 points absulute the best song
Thank you for your reaction. Love the song so much ❤ hello from 🇺🇸
Thank you too! 🇮🇪🙏♥️🇺🇸much love from Ireland
Eden the winner what a voice what a talent you will have to hear you❤❤❤🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱
Thanks for the video: She speaks Hebrew in the end and says: It doesn't need big words, only prayer, and even if it is hard to see: You always leave me a small light
Edan Golan was singing in Hebrew at the end.
This has to do with those that were murdered on the 7th of October.
12 points from Italy.
7:55: You can stop now, this is the best song this year.
❤❤❤

In a memory of all the 7th October victims....❤
This song is a winner ! 12 points to israel 🇬🇧🇮🇱
Every time I hear the song I have goosebumps ❤ Hebrew
The hurricane symbolizes all the souls that got lost that day.😢
