All members of the EBU (European Broadcasting Union) are elligible to participate at the Eurovision Song Contest. This also applies to all countries surrounding the Mediterranean Sea (this is also why Morocco participated in 1980 and Lebanon almost in 2005). Therefore Israel participates since 1973.

Eden is phenomenal!! The lyrics are sublimely meaningful and simple. I have watched this over a hundred times (no exaggeration). I actually listened to it in one day, alone, from morning to sun-down. How can a song and the singer evoke the same trembling traveling upwards from the spine accompanied by weeping. Are the angels weeping with me? Is this song divinely inspired? I really have to disagree. The choreography adds another level of power and ramps up the emotional impact. I can't help but think of the videos I watched of Nova festival victims huddled in bomb shelters as grenades were throw in at them.

The song mainly refers to 350 hundreds of young people who were murdered at a dance and love festival called Nova. We will continue to dance and be happy with music, peace and love in front of all those who try to bring us down. We will be happy if you share our story and of course vote for Israel in the Eurovision in the semi-final on 9.5.24 and the final on 11.5.24.👍
