Eden is first of all an Israeli and a Jewish, she only lived several years in Russia because of her parents, that's it.
After October 7th, we always say that how lucky we are that we have a strong army that protect us from the pure evil, and how sad are the ukrainian people that need to stand in the front of such "strong" and crazy country as Russia. I hope that the war between you and Russia will end soon 🙂

Eden is phenomenal!! The lyrics are sublimely meaningful and simple. I have watched this over a hundred times (no exaggeration). I actually listened to it in one day, alone, from morning to sun-down. How can a song and the singer evoke the same trembling traveling upwards from the spine accompanied by weeping. Are the angels weeping with me? Is this song divinely inspired? Eden's singing these lyrics alone transcends Eurovision. A Masterpiece!!

My company in Israel is huge and has ~ 5% Ukrainian employees in Ukraine and I have conference calls with them weekly...... we are in awe of them that they are able to work hard in the middle of this horrific war , sometimes with electricity outages! working full-time in tech/ AI. One Ukrainian man died in battle and the CEO sent company-wide email and the replies were endless sorrow from Ukrainians and Israelis. 🇮🇱 stand with you 1000%. Russians I know who visit their family in Russia say the country is entirely brainwashed.

Asking Israel to stop fighting in Gaza is just like asking Ukraine not to respond to Russia's attack on Ukraine. Eden was born in Israel, to jewish immigrant parents from Ukraine and Latvia. At the age of 6 they moved to Moscow, due to her fathers business, and returned to Israel long before the invasion of the russians to the Ukraine.

Yes, I know what the song is about, and I’m supporting Israel 100% But still, she violated Ukrainian laws and although she might be not Russian, she did performed in occupied Crimea from Russians side. So yeah, I like the song, but I don’t agree with her life choices.

I know about Eden. Sorry, I cannot think about her as Israeli after she performed on the stage for Russia for many years. Even if she was just a child. I am so sorry about Ukraine for the past 2+ years. It is so sad, and so UNNECESSARY. I always saw Ukraine & Russia and sister-countries. People like Putin should not exist. Should not. They are taking good beautiful people to war and death. They are the biggest criminals in history, Both Ukranian & Russians are beautiful people, and now look - there is so much bad blood, and for what? for one evil person. I also feel for Israeli people, after the massacre of 7/10. The things the terrorists did to these people is unbelievable. And they still hold 133 hostages, mostly dead now as the killed them, so just bodies left. But Jewish people want also the bodies of hostages. Eden Golan lived in Russia, but she is not Russian. This song was inspired by October 7, during which 1200 Israeli citizens were murdered, including babies, children, women, men and adults.
Over 200 were kidnapped, and some are still in Gaza now, including 15-month-old, Kfir Bibas,
and over 8000 were injured that day.. Eden was born in Israel in Kfar Saba, she is not russian by origion. Golan is not a russin name. her parents might born on russia and came to israel like many ukraine people did.
