I love the zebra volute, the color is beautiful. The cherry cowrie also has a beautiful color. I think the precious Wentlertrap has to be my overall favorite. The colours of the Textile Cone and Cherry Cowrie were stunning (and like a stained glass lamp, I need to see that!), and gosh, that beautiful Wentletrap was the favourite overall 🤩 it sure was a beautiful shell and snail 🐚 Thank you so, so much for watching 🥰 and a very Merry Christmas to you as well 🎅🏻
G'day, Maddie. I know this is late, but our guests have been keeping me busy. I snuck away for a few moments of solitude to write you. I cannot pick a favorite of your favorites. They are all wonderful, so I would just have to list all 20 shells. Oh, yeah, I received two UV flashlights for Christmas, so that I can look for glowing shells. Our entire household was in my shell room last night, checking our what glowed and what didn't. The bubble shells won, but the pheasant shells, a few limpets and a couple of others were really beautiful under UV. Your UV episode led to an enjoyable gift for me! Happy New Year 🎉 and best of shelling luck for 2025! Thanks so much for filming!

WOW, two UV flashlights and all the family in your bedroom to see the clowing shells! Yes, those Bubble shells, Limpets, and Pheasant Shells will glow, but there aren't too many other species that we find at Point Cartwright that are good glowers... the odd rarer type of cowrie will, but I don't think you got an Isabella or Green-tinted cowries? Precious Wenteltrap is gorgeous but my favorite pepper has to be the giant bailor turned planter. It is just amazing! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!😊

@ I do a lot of craft items, mostly decorative. The plants are all outside because we all have allergies 🤧! Every so often I use a hydroponic unit to grow indoors but have to get through the holidays so I can make enough room. Then it will be pepper starting season!. I’m in a canning event right now where you grow a pepper plant in a tin can 😂.
@BecomingaGreenstalker Oh no, not the allergies!! Some species really make us sneeze, don't they? Ohhh peppers in a tin can sounds really cool 😎 I hope the rest of your canning event goes great 😃 have fun 🌶️!!

The cowries are definitely always favs, but I really love that Grape cowrie with the bumps on it. I also the Pink Egg Shell is very pretty and unusual. Hey Maddie, I know I haven't been commenting for a while but The Hairy Triton and money cowrie was my favourite! Also the Bailor shell because of the amount of creativity you had But,What material were you using to fix up the shell? i have tons of Huge broken shells in my collection!
G'day Amjad 👋🏻🏖️ Nice to see you again, I hope you're having an terrific end to 2024 🎉❤️ 🎆 Ohhh I think you're the only one to mention the big Giant Hairy Triton and the cute Money Cowrie 🤩 Thank you for giving those shells some love too! Ohhh and Baler shell is a fun one; I made a video on it: th-cam.com/video/Qc_GrIueE-k/w-d-xo.html but in a nutshell, I used tin foil, polymer clay, and acrylic paint to finish the look 🐚 it's a lot of fun and totally worth a try! You can even use air clay instead of polymer clay if you want to save some money...though polymer clay is much nicer to use (the tin foil makes it to you use less of the expensive clay to fill gaps, and also gives it a foundation to work on). Merry Christmas, Maddie! 🎄. What a fun walk down shell memory lane. All of those are just splendid shells. But you always find wonderful shells, would be hard for me to decide which ones I like best. The cowries are definitely always favs, but I really love that Grape cowrie with the bumps on it. I also the Pink Egg Shell is very pretty and unusual. I can wait to see what you come up with in 2025! I hope you have a wonderful holiday.

Oh my goodness, I think you're the third of fourth person to specifically pick out that beautiful Grape Cowrie... maybe I should have placed it higher! But, last year, I ranked a rare freak Grape Cowrie rather highly on the recap, so I was comparing it to that one more than a little. Anyhoo! I'm excited to see what new shells we find in 2025! Hey Maddie, I know I haven't been commenting for a while but The Hairy Triton and money cowrie was my favourite! Also the Bailor shell because of the amount of creativity you had But,What material were you using to fix up the shell? i have tons of Huge broken shells in my collection!
G'day Amjad 👋🏻🏖️ Nice to see you again, I hope you're having an terrific end to 2024 🎉❤️ 🎆 Ohhh I think you're the only one to mention the big Giant Hairy Triton and the cute Money Cowrie 🤩 Thank you for giving those shells some love too! Ohhh and Baler shell is a fun one; I made a video on it: th-cam.com/video/Qc_GrIueE-k/w-d-xo.html but in a nutshell, I used tin foil, polymer clay, and acrylic paint to finish the look 🐚 it's a lot of fun and totally worth a try! You can even use air clay instead of polymer clay if you want to save some money...though polymer clay is much nicer to use (the tin foil makes it to you use less of the expensive clay to fill gaps, and also gives it a foundation to work on).
