my brother bought the 340i LCI and I bought the S5, we both have exactly the personas concluded at the end of the video and are quite happy with our cars. definitely an amazing video coming to the right conclusion!

I had the same decision. I ended up with s5… I had a BMW 335i with m-sport back in the day. It was amazing to drive but it had so many problems… and I replaced 6 run flats because of nails and bubbles. I still have PTSD from it. But the m340i is a beast and it appears to be reliable unlike my 335i with n54 engine.

Sorry to say this, but it doesn't matter even if you get 1000hp out of that 3 series since it looks like a normal entry level luxury car. A layman would even pass it off as a Honda city.
If bmw has priced it at 72L despite it being a ckd, don't you think they have overpriced it? Especially since the s5 being a cbu costs the same.
Looks like the m340i is a rip off in that aspect.

I have driven both,the bimmer drives better, but the audi rides smoother and sounds better for being a v6(g30 530d owner)

Btw you missed one critical thing - the s5 ground clearance is very very low compared to the m340i
Made this decision 6 months ago and bought the Audi s5 since it just looks better.

I have an S5! I test drove the m340i, the m340i is feature packed but when I parked it, i didn’t bother looking back. That was the deal breaker for me. I look back at the S5 every single time :)

@@manisidhu3855 not the best 118mm… but seems to clear most of the speed bumps. Check teambhp there is a guy who tours on a red one and has no issues

I'm an ex B9 S5 owner, and I'd pick the 340i. The steering feel and rwd are two huge reasons.
The m340i is also awd,the rwd m340i shown was specifically modified.
