I would live a video on how to replace factory speaker wire thru door Jams my car is a 2012 mazda 6 and it has a plug on the car side and another plug on the door side ?

That would be a little on the small side for those speakers. I would look at the PDR-V75 maybe.
How are you guys hooking up the speakers to the amp? I see you ran the speaker wires from the amp to the radio harness but does it connect to the factory speaker wiring there?
Unless they run the speaker wires to the doors, they run the wires from the amp to the factory wires.
J Cook at 6:40 we are wiring in the factory harness plug. We ran it up to the radio and plugged it in. We did not need bigger wire for this system.
so at what point is it necessary to upgrade the wiring in a car, as far as rms per channel goes? And will having a factory "premium system" help avoid running new wires bc the wiring is better in those cases?
How did you hook up the speakers and wiring harness? How can get one?

Sorry, but kenwood UK taught me NEVER run signal cables with power cables due to possible interference...
that extra mile of vacuuming the area before the install is awesome I've seen another installer how doesn't care and just plops the amp right on top of the trash oh and the you could have just open the door part had me rolling

When you drill into the bottom, how deep are you going? Are you also painting the bare metal to protect against rust? I want to mount underneath my seat and I am worried about that

I know this video is old but what about the HVAC vents under the seat blowing right on the amp? In winter time it'll be blowing hot air across the amp. No concern?

Isn't the new amp location covering the floor air outlets? Extra heat blowing unto amp.

When you have all the tools to do a clean install it makes everything else easy. I ordered some Tessa tape and some of those things that go on the end of the wires and it makes such a big difference
Wasn’t what I was looking for, last Stereo I installed was 40 years ago, you didn’t show how to wire it all up. I’m doing a stereo installation on a custom 3 wheel trike and want to put a subwoofer in it and be able to listen to music while running 80 mph down the road. Got a kenwood reciver with 4 kicker 4” speakers and putting a 6.5” subwoofer and a 2000 watt 5 channel amp, that’s all I got figured out. how do I wire it all up. Got any videos to help me out? G

Hi I am in Florida and am having a hard time finding good honest installers. What would be a good price to pay to have someone install a 5 channel amp with 4 speakers no subwoofers the speakers are already installed.

Why would you run the remote wire with the soeaker wire?..... wont that cause interference or a low buzz in rhe sloeakers?
Clean work but wouldn’t the hvac system blow hot air on it when set to warm up feet ? Or is it blocked off to prevent that

So 5 channel is what i want? I want a sub and to amp 4 door speakers.. Hook the sub up but where the outputs for the speakers from the app just tap them into headunit harness

I don't like under the seat amp installs. Makes it hard to get to adjustments on the crossovers and gain controls.

Love watching all your installs. Each as meticulous and clean as the next. Wish you guys were in Southern California, I'd bring all my cars to you for installs. I'm thinking about doing a 5-channel amp upgrade for my '06 4runner. Any recommendations? currently have Pioneer AVIC-Z1 driving stock speakers but will upgrade that to 8200 NEX or Kenwood 9903s. Will need speakers upgrade recommendations too.
John Pham check out the Kenwood Excelon line of 5 channel amps, they make 2. Their 7" line of Excelon speakers are also very nice. Focal also make a Toyota perfect fit speaker also.

Every install you guys do it is like a high end shop would do it , Tesa tape use , custom PVC brackets , rivets etc.........
TTacoma every car gets the same treatment big or small. Maybe I should paint the bay white, so I can look like a high end shop. 😁
Pretty sure these guys ARE a high end shop. Just because they aren't running a shop with 5 install bays doesn't mean that they aren't high end. It's the work that comes out of it that counts.
Five Star Car Stereo you guys ARE A HIGH END SHOP PERIOD! You have and use high end testing equipment and your installs are all neat, methodical and well done regardless of equipment used. Excellent work, cleanliness, knowledge are something sorely missing in today’s world of car audio.

Hello. I have a question. I have 5ch amp and I have my speaks and small subwoofer to it. All connected but when music low or on pause. There is like a static sound. On front and rear speaker. Any idea what can cause it?
Nice vidoe as always. I have 16 honda accord with 7speakers include an oem sub (one), want to add after market amp and subs. I am using a LOC for my amp but should I tap the wire to the rear speakers or the OEM sub woofer(one)? And i will not use the oem sub? Hope this makes sense...

They put you in a waiting room and you can't see what kind of quality or poor work they do. They cracked part of my dash, being careless, but I didn't realize it til I drove away from the shop. I put a amp under my seat in one of the cars I owned ! I actually would not recommend doing it , getting to the settings is far too hard and if something goes wrong with wires it is hard to get to for maintenance , I got a massive computer cooling fan as well and wired that into the power supply to keep the amp a bit cooler . And I bolted the SUB directly to the back of the seat and used the boot as a BOX whoever sat in the back seat got a massage from the vibration
