Evelin Gomez, if it were a real lockdown, the principal probably wouldn't have enough time to say all of that, so she has to alert the school immediately in case of a threat. Some schools also used codes to alert the whole campus in case of lockdown to make it less suspicious for the intruder. Also, I’m sure that teachers do know the procedures from their school's emergency plans and probably are told to teach and talk about what to do in a lockdown to their students, so there was no point in saying all of that if the campus needed to be put on lockdown.

in 4th grade I remember that it was recess and all you see are helicopters surrounding a house that was next to our school and you just hear like speaker noises and it was jut me and my friend outside and like 10o kids outside. playing AND BOOM you hear the bell ring the kids were walking slowly because we thought recess was over but the bell was longer and later you hear kids yelling and screaming and you hear kids yelling LOCKDOWN RUN FOR OUR FRICKEN LIVES and you hear shooting and guess what my class room 14 we were lined up and bagning the door saying OPEN UP DR.MORALES OPEN PLEASE and all 34 of us realized she wasn't here cuz whole recess the teacher can leave and come back onto time, and we remembered what she said "go to the nearest classroom" and room 13 was the closest one and we all ran to her class yelling please let us in please our teacher isn't here!!! kids were talking and all and guess what she said GUESS she said "I can't I only allow my class go to your own tea her and beg" and omg as scared I was j started crying 😢 and the other class was like COME HERE COME HERE COME HERE HURRY UP the teacher has like a deep voice so its kinda scary 😂 he starts yelling get in NOW all 34 of us ran like crazy people. my school was an open one like it doesn't have hall ways or what eve the class rooms aren't connected. nothing is connected. and we have building a, building b, and building c. so anyways we were in the class room 16 cuz the other nearest ones were closed and so in that class you see the teacher with a fire estiguisher sitting on the ground next to door in case he/she comes and attacks we his whereever we want and the kids with phones had to like grab their phones and lower the volume and whatever and the scariest thing happens that one girl yells when her phone rings and the guy/women is behind the school and our window was like getting hit with the thing the guy or women had and we start crying and but we had bars on our window since we were like an outside school and the windows are those black ones where you can see through them inside the classroom but outside the class room you can't see inside. after and hour of hiding you hear someone banging on the door and this one boy is all whispering to the two teacher in the class because we were in a classroom with two other teachers and the boy started saying open the door its the authorities OPEN IT NOW he starts telling the teacher, the twcaher replies with "NO ARE YOU CRAZY" and more banging on to door and thank the lord it was the cops well authorities we were all there but we had a lock out for an hour where you can't go out only stay inside and do regular whatever. we had that lockdown for the past 2 houra. the reason why we had it because there was some armed person who lived next to our school and killed I guess someone living therebidk just search elemnerty school in California goes in lockdown cuz of shooting next door neighbor . ah the memories like that was 4 years ago
