Stop bullying if you want to stop shooting. Stop treating everyone like weridos, unequalled, cowards, different... Start listening for the love of god. I know not everyone is a therapist but PLEASE ACT LIKE ONE.

@@eurotekhtx4582 I mean, if you include people with mental illnesses into society it is less possible that they'd hurt other people and themselves, bc support from other people really helps. Suicidal thoughts and depression can be a factor in shootings since they're also mental issues. Nobody is justifying mass shootings, they're bringing awareness of how people "don't know the causes" and then discover a history of bullying that the school ignored. I could ask you the same question tho: are you trying to justify bullying? it sounds like it.
That one teacher who notices the bullying: y’all do something you monsters School: why? Schools only care for you if your raising their grade average or on the sports team.
I like ads that have subtle flashes of brilliance like that. All the more effective because, seeing it for the first time on TV, you probably don't necessarily know what to look for, so, this could be an ad for anything, for it to then hit you with that shock at the end. Whereas looking at it first on TH-cam, even knowing what to expect it can catch you off guard.
While not everything the other guy did is necessarily a sign by itself, seeing them all together presents a warning. The selfie he posted with a gun & the caption "see you at school" strikes me as the biggest red flag.
Huh. I don't think any of us thought of that. Although I'm not sure too many shooters would announce what they're going to do on social media, but I could be wrong.

This short film shocked me to my core..the signs were right in front of my eyes and I didn’t notice..this unfortunately shows how close this is to real life
Sometimes, the signs aren’t that obvious. Also, teenagers should enjoy their years of high school, not worry about potential shooters. It’s really sad.
Unless you’re bullied or dealing social issues or depression or mental illness, then it’s pretty hard to enjoy your teenage years, ending school shootings doesn’t mean things are better.
Faith Attigah How old are you anyways? I do apologize if I offended you... but come on.. really? We’re disgusting pure evil... and you have a problem with my LANGUAGE? God in heaven give these people eyes... and maturity 🙏
For those who are wondering or can't find the warning signs, Evan is the blonde kid who shows up in the library at the beginning in the background, reading a gun magazine of some kind. He shows up multiple other times if you look closely, showing many gun violence signs.
People are only consumed with themselves a lot of the time. Most aren’t aware of their surroundings. Especially when he was quickly scrolling through and that kid with the gun seemed like a loner who would of gone unnoticed.
Happened in my school. Only not a gun, but a knife. She was looking for a certain kid, but he was the only one who got genuinely scared (because he knew her and knew she hated him) and skipped school that day. Still, a teacher got stabbed in his back.
They did report him. Multiple times. Just nobody took their reports serious. Kids aren't fucking stupid. Plus the last school shooter Cruz hadn't been to school for a year and a fucking half. He was an adult.
@@1234lilmama1 I'm just wondering because it's possible I could end up in one of these situations, how would I intervene? It's rare that someone will post something that obvious on social media and with any of the other signs, I feel like the school would just brush off. Is this video meant for administrators rather than students? I would love to prevent something like this but I don't have the authority to stop them unless there is clear evidence.
@Akire Mep I don't think, nobody goes to the supposed quiet kid that looks like he's going into something to make a relationship, even if they knew it was very possible. People just ignore that, they want to keep going with they're lives. Let's do an example, you're a turtle and there's a small but lethal cocodrile, would you go to try and make a relationship? It just doesn't work that way. They're with you 'cause they're ur friends.
My old school showed us this back in 2018 and said to the auditorium “ talk to all quiet kids, the bookworms and outcast.” I thought that was so backhanded to people who felt outcasted
Also while "be kind to others" is a good message for everyone, it seems unfair to expect the students who are literal children and don't have the life experience or emotional maturity that they should be expected to recognize that, but also over simplifies things as it has been more or less proven that it isn't as simple as "school shooters were bullied, be nice to people and they won't shoot others". A lot of school shooters are the bullies.
AHHhhhh Sheeeetttt!!!!! I'm introverted (enjoy spending time to myself) and this one girl started saying hi to me all of the time, and eventually tried to get to know me a lot more. Now I think I know why. I'd prefer if I remained to myself to avoid any misconceptions, thanks.
All the people (including me) who thought a school ignoring an obvious post threat like pointing a gun at a camera and saying “see you at school” would be unrealistic was proven wrong by the example set in Texas. I don’t know how to feel about that….
You feel angry. Then you start talking about that with your neighbors. Then you and your neighbors start going to school board meetings... and ask LOTS of questions about school safety and mental health. Sometimes things are so obvious, and so clear, that we miss them. Question everything and get to know the people in your community- better. It starts with feeling it though. And the feeling here is... anger.
@@nathanchetwin4309brother there have been over 200 shootings in the past 4 years in the United States, with of them happening in the past ten days. He should be rightfully scared.
News Only 56 kids survived the shooting that occurred today in a local school it's also said that the kids new about the possible shooting the reason of their silence is they're not snitches and they just didn't go to school so therefore the police let them go arguing that they couldn't do anything against that logic
I see it all the time, so I guess I'm blind to it. In country areas, that picture isn't crazy. Kids around here hunt all the time and have guns in their cars (no supposed to) at school. It isn't crazy. That guy's 'signs' would not even be noticed here with the exception of maybe the bullying. My school has its own hunting team and many are pro-gun.
Yet my school had a kid in my homeroom who literally yelled that he would shoot all the girls in the class because none of us romantically liked him. He also got suspended for bringing a knife to school. He also threatened to shoot up the entire school out loud during lunch (everyone ate together). He didn’t get suspended or expelled for either threat. Yet girls would report him because, I’ll put it this way, he was handsy. And we would get told to dress more proper and a couple times the girl would get suspended for breaking the dress code. The girls were wearing jeans and t-shirts with hoodies because it was winter. Schools don’t care about our safety, especially in modern day
The one where he was legit just pointing a gun at the camera on his social media was a dead giveaway. I didn't notice all the signs at all, but that one definitely grabbed my attention.
It's was probably the 3rd to last day So some Probably Didn't Go school and their parents don't care Because when the last day Of school is approaching you can stay home and Nobody cares
When the adults can't fix the economy or mental health, who is left to pass the buck to except the same students who'll be killed if they fail? Plus, if they blame the students, they can safely rationalize their own guilt away and continue ruining the economy and doing nothing about the state of mental health! It's a Win-Win for them.
Theyre not saying that, but by emphasizing the effect that paying attention to the signs can do to the outcome, it makes people more aware which overall increases their safety

I'm currently in disbelief. We are in a world, no a country in which children are expected to look for and prevent gun violence because the adults won't do enough. They won't fix bullying or prevent children from getting guns, so children have to live in fear or dye. Sometimes both. I mean it's been this way for quite some time, but that doesn't mean it doesn't shock me, how messed up that all is :(
The vast majority of students in America do not have to worry about this; this problem (it is a problem, I agree) is blown out of proportion by the media and youth that want to have something to feel interesting. I sympathize with the students that have had to deal with this in the past, though. I'm not callous, but it's not a simple problem to fix. Children can't purchase guns, and most people would like to think that they've raised their kids well enough to not shoot up a school. Mental illness is the major problem with this though, and this problem is largely ignored because of social stigmas associated with it.
This dude sat here with a gun pointed in the mirror in a selfie, with a caption of see you at school, 58 people liked and nobody thought to say anything😑😑
Not everyone who has been bullied wants to shoot up the school. I’ve been bullied throughout my school career and I haven’t thought about picking up a gun and getting revenge.
Because they’re asking the children to target the kid who’s awkward anyway and probably a loner and single the kid out and call him / her a crazy murderer. And act on that . How is that not bullying??
Fast Foward to now, in Oxford, Michigan.. this literally happened. But not just the kids failed to see this, even worse… teachers, counselors, school administrators, and even the parents failed to acknowledge and do something before it was too late. Rest In Peace everyone whose passed away due to gun violence.

@julia bullying is just the last straw for a psychopath to do this, doesnt mean its the whole cause of it
@@eurotekhtx4582 I mean, if you include people with mental illnesses into society it is less possible that they'd hurt other people and themselves, bc support from other people really helps. Suicidal thoughts and depression can be a factor in shootings since they're also mental issues. Nobody is justifying mass shootings, they're bringing awareness of how people "don't know the causes" and then discover a history of bullying that the school ignored. I could ask you the same question tho: are you trying to justify bullying? it sounds like it.

more like “know and recognize the signs associated with gun violence, so someone can intervene before something happens”
im usually the quiet type at school but this- this I would never consider doing
Gun violence is also preventable with actual restrictions like almost every country in Europe, no school schootings there !!!

ik they had good intentions but, the school fr instigating 💀
"bookworms" as if we do nothing but read and have no friends lmfao
Also while "be kind to others" is a good message for everyone, it seems unfair to expect the students who are literal children and don't have the life experience or emotional maturity that they should be expected to recognize that, but also over simplifies things as it has been more or less proven that it isn't as simple as "school shooters were bullied, be nice to people and they won't shoot others". A lot of school shooters are the bullies.
AHHhhhh Sheeeetttt!!!!!

Then you and your neighbors start going to school board meetings... and ask LOTS of questions about school safety and mental health. Sometimes things are so obvious, and so clear, that we miss them.
