just did this today , plus the main battery under the seat. took all of 40 min for both and much of that time was gathering tools and getting organized. i dont know who in their right mind would take apart the whole back interior as first instructed! this method was super easy and didnt have to cut the carpet.
Great video! I’ve watched a couple of other videos online and they take out when wheel, the floor panel and remove the entire side section. Your method is so much faster and easier. I replaced the auxiliary in my 2014 ML250 over the weekend following your instructions and it made it so much easier. Thank you!
very helpful, thanks. of course the most difficult part is the PULLING OF THE PANEL OUT OF THE WAY and how to do that with the 12v outlet and tie-down bar locked into place. but I have a 2014 and maybe they decided to make all this more difficult.
Hi, I didn't do any software change after replacing the battery. I don't have the dimensions of the battery but the part number is shown in the video at 5.19 (a0009829608) which I believe you can search for the dimensions using the part number.
@@kenkanfix Thank you! I found another usefull video too, maybe by cutting a little on the right side, you don't need to unscrew something. Thanks! th-cam.com/video/ATjTFgx2Yzs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=0YmXG3veR9i6pUW0
@@kenkanfix Hi, no problemo, its maybe my mistake😅.I mean that you might have had to adjust the battery in the system extra or was it not needfull? Bicause in any other cars, you need to do it later
Hi, there were no problems. It was really a preventative measure. The car (and battery) was 7 seven years old and I didn't want to be caught out when the battery dies.
The little pipe which you didn't connect on, was to aborbe some posion gas off the battery. As the old one is liquid battery. The new one that you put on, is a dry battery. Thus, you don't need the little pipe to be connected.

Is there an third battery in the near of the mainbattery under the seat right side front? Thanks!

Thank you so much for the advice
Is there a way if measure the health without take it out?
you need a multi meter to measure the Voltage of the battery. i think it should be above 12V.

Maybe the old one is still ok and only needs to be loaded?
Ken thanks for the excellent video. How did you address the Kantana battery not having a threaded terminal post to screw the terminal lugs onto?
Hi, there was nut under/within the battery terminal. The thread wasn't on the terminal itself.
Thank you for your help, I was able to complete this task.
Do you need to do a learn by software after change? And if possible write the dimensions of the original battery. Thanks!
