I'm obsessed with your bookshelves! I have a smaller version of these industrial & wooden style bookshelves but Im so inspired to get these bigger ones. And at the rate in which I'm buying books I will need a bigger one soon lol. I always see book organization videos with the Ikea Billy bookshelves (not that there is anything wrong with those) but these are definitely more my vibe so thank you! I got them from the capitalist overlord, Amazon, they're from the company Fatorri. So far they're very sturdy! I don't have them connected to the wall either, but they're stable and have been holding the books great!
I have a question please how do you know the genre of each book ? I do often organise my books depending on the first name author and by titles sequently. How can i organize them depending on genres because i don't which genre it is here in Lebanon we don't have this organisational process in libraries so I pick up the books depending on recomendations from In stage am and TH-cam. Thanks for replying.
I know their genre based on the synopsis of the book. For instance if the main character is between 13-18 years old, it's young adult. If they're older than 18, it's an adult book. And the same for fantasy, if it's a story about a magical world or contemporary if it's set in our world. I hope that helps!
I organized them based on genre, so they're with similar books, and also by author, so books by the same author are together.
