My friend is going through this. She is paying for the gas her boyfriend put in his car, his haircut, everything he needs. He yells at her if she does not give him money. He threatens her when they breakup. He said he was going to buy her a Range Rover as makeup to her for the things she purchased. I'm pretty sure she is going to get stuck with the car note!

These are the red flags 🚩 of struggle love. Early signs that a woman would be doing the heavy lifting financially. Leave him. I once liked a guy in his forties who’s a self employed worker. In last few years has had moments of unemployment living off government assistance when work is dry. He said he wasn’t interested in permanent contracts. Been moving from apartment to apartment numerous times. We used to contact back and forth until it was just me initiating contact most of the time. When we met up again through a friend he apologised me he felt bad for being out of touch. With further reflection I decided to cut the interest and move on, he’s not in my books stable for any woman.

The problem with me was I was too kind. I was so willing to help & this guy just saw all that. So he started asking me pretty much everything. Using his parents too that they need help so he had to spend his money on them. When he gets paid he didn't show indication of paying me back. Instead he came up more with issues to not pay me back. Then found out he's with someone younger too. So I left him.
I don't mind helping people who needs help, it just happened I give it to some ungrateful toxic person. He's getting his karma now. It'll take the rest of his life to recover.

Shane I am running for my life from you. I am tired of you being broke all your life. Women escape for your lives. I was robbed all I had hoping he would change 4 years later he is still broke.

I was with someone over 10+ yrs...he nade 3 times my salary and l worked 2 jobs...he had good credit paid his child support and had a house vs my one bedroom apartment....he was an enabler to his Dad, grown son and siblings and they were over 40 yrs old...always spending $$ on them or lending them money....he was a stingy hog with me...l am very independent...l nvr took him for granted financially.....nvr asked for a dime....but he wasn't giving at holidays....one xmas, l got three sweaters...but he gave tv and electronics and a brand new coat to his son and dad....l dumped him...he's the complete opposite of a scrub....a stingy cheap hog...can someone help me with this

I don't really think he is a bad guy as long as he can pay his bills and as great credit. I don't think you should feel like he should go half at all especially if you make more money. If you feel it's problem for you to pay the bill then you should not have daten him from the beginning. I give this advice to my sons and they are providers. Men should be able to pay there bills by themselves before they settle down first and not depend on there other half. It's not what there partner can pay they most likely contribute in other ways. If you pick the right partner it's should be totally great.
At the beginning my date was in a good sit with money, he always paid and put me first, paid my doctors even, when I was sick and didn't have enough money. We went living together after few months and after couple of months he started having income problems. Now is basically 1 year and half that I pay everything, stuck in " his" house that he can't pay and I am paying.. I feel so torn confused bad and so on. I still remember when he helped me so much at the beginning, he almost saved my life in a way, but I also feel very tired and drained now after so long

I love my man, he’s broke, I make more than him, I don’t pay for dates though but I sincerely love him and I’m not going anywhere. As long as he’s truly good to me, that’s all I need.

I have been with mine for 3 YEARS and he HASN'T paid for a meal yet.So I just start going alone. And when he borrows money I take it from my half of the rent and thats how he pays me back. And as of THIS month I informed him that I am only buying groceries 1 time every other month. I told him spend all of my extra paycheck on groceries stop THIS MONTH and that in MAY I will leave the buying groceries to him.I get paid 3 times that month I want that extra.
