This is too funny! My son is a sleep talker and he says, and does some of the wildest things and then picks up the next morning and says “oh mom, your make up the silliest stories “when I tell him about it
When I was pregnant with my first child I too was sleeptalking. I would wake up my husband and accuse him of different things - he quickly learned to just say “I am so sorry” and then we both went back to sleep - and next day I could not remember anything 😬😂
I’m not a sleep talker (as far as I know), but I have had those terrifying dangling monster spider dreams too. I wake up screaming and jump out of bed every time. My husband finds it very amusing. Spiders are absolutely terrifying
Charlotte, we are soul sisters. I have the same sleep walking/talking thing! AND, I even had a whole incident when I dreamed about the spider coming down from the ceiling. I slithered out of bed (in the hopes of scooting UNDER the imaginary spider) and finally woke myself up trying to get under the bed. And my mom caught me sleepwalking many times as a teen-- trying to go into the basement, pacing around my bed, etc. It caused the most problems when I was in a small dorm room with two other girls, they'd be up late studying and I'd be sleeping and all of a sudden have a whole conversation with them that I didn't remember the next day! That eyeshadow palette is GORGEOUS!
Do not attempt to listen to this video while you’re driving! 😂😂😂😂 I was laughing so hard I was crying, mostly because I also act out my dreams sometimes. One time my husband found me on the toilet in our bathroom in the middle of the night. “talking on the phone to my friend.” He was also quite concerned because an emergency is the only reason I would be talking on the phone in the middle of the night. When he opened the door and saw that I actually did not have a phone in my hand, he just started laughing at me. At this point in our relationship, he was used to my nighttime activities. Him laughing at me, really pissed me off, and I started yelling at him. I finally started regaining consciousness when he told me to look at my hand, because there was no phone in it. 😅😅
I'm so released you have shared about your sleep antics my daughter has the same thing she's older now and lives in her own place thank god the last night I spent with her was unbelievable I've always been a single parent she came in to my woke me there's someone in the house be quiet and they won't know we're here my heart stopped we were sat there until I picked up on the indicator she was sleeping i never slept that night we laugh now but I'll never forget that night as long as I live xx

I started sleep-walking when I was 8. Eventually my mom realized if she asked if I was awake I would answer yes or no, then I would wake or she would tell me to go back to bed. I have had crazy experiences with sleep-walking. I even drove once and woke up in a store in my pajamas.
I have tears running down my cheeks from laughing. You’re such a wonderful, witty storyteller. I am a sleep talker. My brother used to be a bizarre sleep talker but the most bizarre I’ve ever heard was just before Xmas when I was in hospital for over two months…one of the ladies in one of the wards with me was a fairly normal sleep talker (always about food!) but then she had an operation and I don’t know what drugs they gave her but the sleep talking went ballistic! It was hilarious and v entertaining…she constantly giggled to herself and even had a couple of whole conversations with me which she didn’t then remember …again about food! She also had her eyes open and gave every semblance of being in a proper conversation with me until she apparently fell back to a proper sleep each time, leaving me a bit peeved that my conversational skills were obviously that boring, that she kept falling asleep! Didn’t even mind that it was in the middle of the night, when you are in hospital that long you will take any entertainment you can get.
I have had the same spider dream exactly off and on for years but I’ve learned to tell myself I must be dreaming because there can’t be one that big in my house. Every time though I feel I’m awake and it is real. Wow I didn’t know anybody else had that dream. Other than that I love all the makeup you have used. This was really a good makeup day 😊

Charlotte, you're not crazy! I used to have those episodes too when I was younger. Right from when I was maybe 7 or 8 actually. I once stayed at a neighbor's house when my parents were away. He was a police officer. In the middle of the night I woke them up because I was 100% sure someone was in my house across the alley. Could not talk me down, he had to go over and check before I would believe it wasn't true and there was NO reasoning with me. That's happened with other scenarios to yours as well and eventually you slowly sort of wake up and realize what's happening. So funny and I'm glad that I'm not the only one. Also love the new hair!
Love your videos! My daughter dies this same type of dreaming. She’s constantly having conversations and has sleep walked around the house. If you wake her during one of her episodes, she will immediately get really pissed of and argumentative. It’s better to just go with the flow. She’s thirty years old now and her boyfriend says she still does it. And, she won’t remember anything the next day. I really enjoy your videos, you’re not only beautiful but witty and entertaining too!

Love that eye palette - you were so right to pick that up. It looks stunning on you :) I have hazel eyes which most days look like olives (horizontal ones obviously, and thank goodness!) and olive in colour too, although with flecks of amber in the sunshine. Very confusing I know. But green is definitely a favourite eye shadow for me too :) There. That was the point I was trying to make :D Anyway - excellent video - I struggle to do makeup full stop. You on the other hand manage to do makeup and tell us fascinating stories at the same time! So glad I found your channel.... you make me smile :) Thank you. 💗🥰
Yep, I was crying, too, had to blow my nose and then re-do my concealer. My husband is a sleep talker, and just like you, he had many more episodes when we first moved in together when he was in a state of conflict about being in a new relationship. His first wife had died the year before I met him and he really was having a terrible time dealing with guilt. He even had an episode of 'sleep paralysis', or night terrors, that left him convinced there was a demon standing over my side of the bed, and it took days for him to shake the terrible feeling it left with him. He still talks in his sleep, but it's all dumb, mundane stuff about work, which is too bad because none of the stuff he says now is funny at ALL lol

Great stories! I am excited to get my Suqqu order! I bought both blushes and eye quads. The highlighter looks right up my street! Have you worn it out in natural daylight, and does it have any flecks of sparkle or anything like that? I have learned that some highlighters that look fantastic indoors can sometimes look crazy in the sunshine!
That's such a funny and interesting story, I didn't know much about sleep talking and walking, but the fact that your then boyfriend now husband stuck with you all the way despite that is very sweet. Love the green makeup, I used to use Suqqu a lot more when I lived in Japan as it's pretty popular over there, but since living in the UK not so much, probs because it is harder to get here. I would like to try some of their stuff again.

INFO THAT MIGHT BE USEFUL. I decided to try the Guerlain foundation. Thankfully it isn't yellow peril like Parure Gold. Neutral is a true neutral but the shades do run a bit dark. Shade 0N Guerlain once oxidised is EXACTLY the same shade as Haus Labs shade 110 . Foundation oxidises up by 1 shade. Thankfully I can just get away with it, as my absolute perfect match is Haus labs 100 (I have 100 & 110). I also got the cool shade of the highlighter. It is lovely. Very subtle. More so than the new CT highlighter
So…this just hits me where I live. 😂 My husband has occasionally night terrors where in The middle of the night he sits up and screams bloody murder and then…lays back down and goes back to snoozing. Me…I die a little and am up for a good hour trying not to have a cardiac arrest. 😂😂😂

Oh my god, fellow sleepwalker here. Hundreds of imbaresing stories I will take to my grave. When it's over, you can laugh about it, but sometimes it's just terrifying. I usually sort of wake up during it, and I am in a very confused state for a while. But most of the time, I do remember it.
I'm a sleepwalker and talker and I had my share of embarrassing moments for sure 😂😂😂. The many times I answered my phone and had no idea till next day the person tells me all the crazy things I was talking 🤦🏼♀️ (luckily nothing compromising).
I have the same recurring spider dream, but it is because it actually occurred once in real life. I witnessed the spider descend slowly on his spider thread and gently land on my shin to then nonchalantly make his way towards the end of the bed. 😊 Luv ya
I talk a little too in my sleep but I've been single for years so I don't know how extensive it is now. One of dad's brothers and some of his sons do a lot of talking and sleep walking. When that uncle was little, he left their house and in a storm walked across a stream on a log. But dad went to find him and my uncle was too scared when awake to walk over the log. And then one of his sons left their house in the night, in his underwear, in the winter, and got locked out. Your husband must be pretty chill and must really love you to endure 😂

We could never share a bedroom - I'm exactly the same as you!! From baby chick's (about 24 of them), squirrel droppings and random wheels I've enacted them all. The most memorable one was when my long suffering hubby was very rudely woken up only to see a "bulge" under the duvet, then he felt accute pain in his foot. Well, it was me under the duvet and I was bashing the living daylights out of a hedgehog - unfortunately, the "hedgehog" was his foot 🤣🤣. Of course, I just snuggled down to sleep when that trace of reality hit. Poor hubby was in the kitchen, putting ice on his foot - I still feel terrible and embarrassed 😳 Quick question : How did the foundation wear? Must be a trauma response because I’ve had something similar, not talking, but hitting or legs kicking up violently, however it hasn’t happened since the beginning of my relationship 10 years ago. Poor men, they go through it for the ones prior don’t they? I can’t say I would stay if I were the recipient but yet here we are!

I have hazel eyes which most days look like olives (horizontal ones obviously, and thank goodness!) and olive in colour too, although with flecks of amber in the sunshine. Very confusing I know. But green is definitely a favourite eye shadow for me too :) There. That was the point I was trying to make :D
Anyway - excellent video - I struggle to do makeup full stop. You on the other hand manage to do makeup and tell us fascinating stories at the same time!

Yep, I was crying, too, had to blow my nose and then re-do my concealer.
My husband is a sleep talker, and just like you, he had many more episodes when we first moved in together when he was in a state of conflict about being in a new relationship. His first wife had died the year before I met him and he really was having a terrible time dealing with guilt. He even had an episode of 'sleep paralysis', or night terrors, that left him convinced there was a demon standing over my side of the bed, and it took days for him to shake the terrible feeling it left with him.
He still talks in his sleep, but it's all dumb, mundane stuff about work, which is too bad because none of the stuff he says now is funny at ALL lol
I did similar walking and talking craziness when I was growing up- my siblings would witness it! I feel a bit better knowing I’m not the only one. ❤

The highlighter looks right up my street! Have you worn it out in natural daylight, and does it have any flecks of sparkle or anything like that? I have learned that some highlighters that look fantastic indoors can sometimes look crazy in the sunshine!

That's such a funny and interesting story, I didn't know much about sleep talking and walking, but the fact that your then boyfriend now husband stuck with you all the way despite that is very sweet. Love the green makeup, I used to use Suqqu a lot more when I lived in Japan as it's pretty popular over there, but since living in the UK not so much, probs because it is harder to get here. I would like to try some of their stuff again.

I snore worse than you've ever heard 😜 my mom told me as a young woman that I would have to marry a deaf man?!! 🥴 I did end up marrying a very calm & thoughtful man who never complained (at least to me) and he wasn't deaf!! But I did get married young, perhaps the fear of never being able to fall asleep was too exhausting!! 😬 Thanks for sharing & making my secret very funny!! 🤍🤍🤍

Yeah me too! I love your dead pan way of telling stories! The snow boarding one I could mega relate to after doing it myself with no lessons and ending up on a black diamond run having to walk down it! Not fun! So when I got married my husband had arachnophbia so bad now I have it. I've been known to jump over him to get out of his side of the bed to avoid the spider coming down from the ceiling. Oh Charlotte!!!! I am grading and listening to you in the background and HAD to come on and tell you that you are not alone. Two nights ago, I was talking in my sleep about saving the birds from the tigers because the tigers were going to eat them. For some reason, we had pet birds! My husband is waking me up saying "why are you talking about our birds???"

INFO THAT MIGHT BE USEFUL. I decided to try the Guerlain foundation. Thankfully it isn't yellow peril like Parure Gold. Neutral is a true neutral but the shades do run a bit dark. Shade 0N Guerlain once oxidised is EXACTLY the same shade as Haus Labs shade 110 . Foundation oxidises up by 1 shade. Thankfully I can just get away with it, as my absolute perfect match is Haus labs 100 (I have 100 & 110). I also got the cool shade of the highlighter. It is lovely. Very subtle. More so than the new CT highlighter

Oh my god, fellow sleepwalker here. Hundreds of imbaresing stories I will take to my grave. When it's over, you can laugh about it, but sometimes it's just terrifying.
I usually sort of wake up during it, and I am in a very confused state for a while. But most of the time, I do remember it.
I'm a sleepwalker and talker and I had my share of embarrassing moments for sure 😂😂😂. The many times I answered my phone and had no idea till next day the person tells me all the crazy things I was talking 🤦🏼♀️ (luckily nothing compromising).
I have the same recurring spider dream, but it is because it actually occurred once in real life.
I witnessed the spider descend slowly on his spider thread and gently land on my shin to then nonchalantly make his way towards the end of the bed. 😊

I talk a little too in my sleep but I've been single for years so I don't know how extensive it is now. One of dad's brothers and some of his sons do a lot of talking and sleep walking. When that uncle was little, he left their house and in a storm walked across a stream on a log. But dad went to find him and my uncle was too scared when awake to walk over the log. And then one of his sons left their house in the night, in his underwear, in the winter, and got locked out.
Your husband must be pretty chill and must really love you to endure 😂

We could never share a bedroom - I'm exactly the same as you!! From baby chick's (about 24 of them), squirrel droppings and random wheels I've enacted them all.
The most memorable one was when my long suffering hubby was very rudely woken up only to see a "bulge" under the duvet, then he felt accute pain in his foot. Well, it was me under the duvet and I was bashing the living daylights out of a hedgehog - unfortunately, the "hedgehog" was his foot 🤣🤣. Of course, I just snuggled down to sleep when that trace of reality hit. Poor hubby was in the kitchen, putting ice on his foot - I still feel terrible and embarrassed 😳

Must be a trauma response because I’ve had something similar, not talking, but hitting or legs kicking up violently, however it hasn’t happened since the beginning of my relationship 10 years ago. Poor men, they go through it for the ones prior don’t they? I can’t say I would stay if I were the recipient but yet here we are!
Oh, you MUST keep us entertained with more of your dream talking episodes! I once dreamed the ENTIRE wall across from my bed was covered with spiders of various sizes! Eek! When I was a child, my father was away on a trip, and I was sleeping with my mom, and she told me I sat up straight in bed, turned toward her and pinched her nose! 😅

Also how does the Guerlain highlighter in ivory compare to the Chanel reve de camelia in your opinion? As far as shade, formula and finish goes?
