What I do when I buy strawberries and make sure that I have plenty of baking soda, salt and vinegar I am all three of these baking soda 3 tbsp salt 1.5 tbsp then you can watch it and see it for yourself after everything dissolves like the baking soda what's the best part you'll be glad to find out a lot more comes out near the ending and then you can pour out and that disgusting water and then rinse it again and then you can store your strawberries.
The best part out of it if you can get a container and you want to store your strawberries after you follow my directions and grab at least four paper towels put two on the very bottom make sure you shake the strawberries so that all the water can be collected to the bottom and when it's full put the last two paper towels on and seal it completely so I can keep the freshness but when you put it in the refrigerator so it could be nice and cool flip it upside down so it can lay on the lid so that way all of the water can go down to the top of the lid or the other last two paper towels are at so by the time you want fresh strawberries you can definitely enjoy it and I mean it those kind of lids their plastic or you can use the other kind of have a freshness storage which it really it comes with glass but the top lid and you do the same thing like you do with the plastic you know storage containers that seals in the freshness so flip it over put it into the refrigerator and when you're ready to have some or you want to cut up some fresh strawberries go ahead

The thing about insects in produce is that any produce imported when it is out of season in the USA is processed with irradiation as mandated by the USDA. If you are worried about a little extra protein with your fruit, wash your USA grown fruits thoroughly as they have not had all the little creatures and bacterial killed off prior to putting it out on the shelf.

@@rossothecrimson7 I was told the same thing only it was regarding pesticides. That hasn't helped my psyche yet. Now we know why berries are listed in the dirty dozen. I actually dug up my strawberries which were doing really well, transplanted them to a pot, even though I knew it was risky. I was going to put netting over them and feel like I had some sort of control. I guess I'll find out. Meanwhile, the plants were all loaded with strawberries about ready to ripen and I had to cut them way back and start all over.

What an odd thing to complain about and comment. It’s her video. Don’t like it? Scroll on. You must be a very negative person to complain about something so silly. Be better

I think she uses her hands to express herself because her face often isn't in the video, being the emphasis is on what she is showing.
