    GOOSEPIMPLES.......WOW.....WHAT A BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN, ACTED & DIRECTED WORK OF ART....That realizes moments in time that can literally change a person's perspective, their life....meeting a stranger....it happens...I know personally it does...Yet I've never seen it so captivatingly, and surprisingly, and movingly portrayed in a film, that invited me along for an intimate experience, with such nakedly honest and inspired storytelling. Thank you......and Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Masterful. Poignant. From the very first moments both captivating and intriguing. How is it that the gallery visitor, who has purchased a head-set in order to fully appreciate his visit to an art gallery, can possibly be declared ‘boring’ by an unknown we immediately presume to be his partner? (And viewing a Schiele - couldn’t be better!). What follows seems improbable - and yet not impossible. This explains the film’s magnetism, superbly enhanced by such intelligent acting. And we are left with feelings of regret that the bond, which briefly develops between the two, probably has little chance of ever developing into something more long-lasting - and perhaps deeper.

LG

    Excellent. The situation was very unlikely, but it gave the viewer a lot to think about. I feel for Marcus. He is very alone in his life right now, but aren’t we all? We need to find peace in ourselves and not rely on happiness from others. But we are not meant to exist alone. Social interactions are vital to survive. All of this was shown in this film. Well done.

      Intriguing story. "We are not meant to exist alone...". Most people are partner-less therefore they are alone.

    • @donavonyoung3108

      @@KnowTrentTimoy Partner-less is not synonymous with alone. We can't truly be alone, because we are not actually separate from one another, that's why it is important to learn to be kind and loving towards all people, because we really are all a part of one another.

    • @KnowTrentTimoy

      @@donavonyoung3108 I agree with what you're saying but what I was trying to define is the part about being alone. There's nothing wrong with being alone first of all. One can be alone but fulfilled inside. Naturally, people would enjoy having a partner if you're fortunate enough to be compatible and truly enjoy one another. One can be married, for example, and still be alone.

    Well. That hit a little too close to home. My Husband of more than 10 years left me because I am “too risk averse “. Funny but for the first half of our marriage he stayed up in is office all day either with his stamp collecting or genealogy or play Sims. And that steady risk adverse quality got him out of many a jams.
    Well I hear he is living an exiting unemployed life with his two new Boyfriends as he navigates securing funding for housing. Karma!

    This was lovely. The characters well written and acted. Makes me wonder how Marcus was able to miss the signs of ‘trouble in paradise’ so much so that he was about to propose. Was the boyfriend being dishonest or was Marcus refusing to see signs of trouble in the relationship. Would love to see them again; you should shop this to the streamers

    I've had a couple of random meetings like this and they are the tiny things that allow us to step out of ourselves and see formerly hidden parts of ourselves; I was going home from college one Christmas and had a 5 hour layover at Newark. I struck up a conversation with a young woman and we ended up going into Manhattan together. It was the middle of the night but having a companion made us feel safe and open. We talked about everything and laughed and were silly. This was before mobile phones so we didn't exchange numbers. I have no idea how we could make it happen but I'd love to meet again.
