Funny you should mention Chickenfoot, I just bought Chickenfoot II on cd (the gatefold 3-d, with glasses), about 15mins before coming back home and watching this upload. Great upload as per usual, cheers🤘
Those kinds of coincidences are funny indeed. I always felt that Chickenfoot III (2nd album) is there best. That would should have been what they sounded like on the first album which too me all sounded the same.
I think Buckcherry second record Time Bomb is so underrated. I was in the Marines when I saw them open up for Kid Rock in San Diego , immediately found their Debut and wore it out for months . They disappeared in America after Time Bomb , then the 15 comeback . I wish Keith Nelson would return ..
I saw Cheap Trick open for Rod Stewart at the Hollywood Bowl back in 2022. It was a great show. Mainly went for Cheap Trick, but Stewart was in top form and played all his hits including Faces stuff.
Maybe John Sykes will come out of retirement for Thin Lizzy. LOL. Was hopeful for a new album from Mr. Sykes when he dropped a couple news songs Out Alive and Dawning of a Brand New Day on TH-cam 3 years ago but MIA since then. Guess he's done with the music industry? Been too busy to watch lately, you got a goatee now and haven't seen Noodle in a while. Have a good weekend.
There is no PANTERA without MIGHTY DIMEBAG AND VINNIE PAUL...No body can replace the sound they created and should not even ever try that.TUOMO FROM FINLAND
It's a shame Jason won't be part of Sammy's band, we don't know the real reasons but this is a business and probably with the recent absences Jason would come more that could affect the shows and could be maddening finding replacements for shows here and there
People slam Brit Floyd a lot but, in all honesty, they do an excellent job of replicating a Pink Floyd show; great musicians and the vocalists sound very close ro what Gilmour and Waters sound like. Saw them in concert a few years ago, and the band put up an amazing show. And, to be real, in the next few years it will be the onlynway to catch a classic "Pink Floyd" show as the surviving members in the band are up there in age.
Interesting because I’ve heard nothing but praise for Brit Floyd. I feel as long as the original band doesn’t want to tour then a band like Brit Floyd should exist. My only issue is when the band is still playing and there are tribute bands to them.
@BrendonSnyder Agree 100%. The ones that I've seen criticize BF are exclusively fans that were in their late 60s to mid 70s; don't know if those younger feel differently. Eother way BF is a great band and puts an incredible live show. If you close your eyes, you'd think the real Pink Floyd was on stage.
Great stuff again as always. I think with anything in the Van Halen world especially coming from Roth or Alex, is probably just not going to happen and anything happening with Alex and Sammy together, I think there is a better chance of Dennis Deyoung being back in STYX. Eddie trunk was pointing out, that Alex and Sammy at this point are really getting up there in years so if anything is going to happen, they better move on it, but just the fact that ALEX ignores that era is a joke considering that era sold more, because the whole thing could've crashed and burned when Roth took off. I also think its funny the "set list" being posted right on a flyer is hilarious but I get it its a residency but to be honest the artist doesn't owe the ticket buyer anything but showing up and doing a show, they could do all covers if they want.
Genesis box set disc 3 & 4 live discs have already been released on CD on the Genesis Archive set! However they did add the 2 encores that were not on that set.
I would prefer Ricky Warwick to focus on the Almighty and his solo career rather than appearing as a Lizzy tribute act. His last solo album was loads better than the recent BSR stuff.
In what way is Ricky part of a Thin Lizzy tribute act? He hasn’t fronted Thin Lizzy for quite some time. He’s been doing Black Star Riders which was at the time Thin Lizzy under a new name. But they were never a tribute act.
@@BrendonSnyder Hi Brendon In the sense whatever incarnation tours with Scott Gorham is really a tribute! Lizzy without Phil Lynott isn't really Lizzy for me. I would feel the same if Phil Campbell toured as Motorhead. I would love the Almighty to record another album but they are just touring at the mo. Ricky's solo stuff is amazing, better than BSR in my opinion.
I am starting to not believe that there really is a Van Halen Vault. I think people have romantaize this idea for so long everybody has made up there minds there is material that doesn't exist. If there really is material clearly it is not developed to the point where they could slap vocals on it. Just my opinion, i think people have heard to many Stines demos and think Van Halen are set up the same way. The Beatles have gotten back with old Demos of John's you would think that VH would have 100's of tape with just them jamming.
No there definitely is. There have been interviews with Eddie showing all the tapes that he recorded over the years full of unreleased ideas and it fills the walls of the studio. There is a great MTV interview walking through with Eddie showing all of this.

Their best in years.
For me it's their best since Watershed.

So the boxset is even worse than I thought it was 🤦♂️
