Game had its own economy, i had a gf , gambiling. I even remeber updating my signate in the forums, because my group got the first kill of a new boss, and i got the kill credit as a druid ( the healer class) because i was one of the first damage druids at the time. Great memories, would love to see you check it out if you do a mobile mmo episode.
my friend and I used to play Celtic Heroes all the time back in like 2012, we had an absolute blast! I thought it was fun for a mobile mmo and I never spent money on it.
U were totally wrong on your whole way to Last Chaos, but no hate here, i've just been playing this game since 2009 so that's normal for me. Just to let you know that this game actually has 1k+ active players on ch1 and that the playstyle walkthrough is kinda different than other MMO's, anyway thank you for putting this beauty into light :)
@@HumanPerson_final Absolutely not, there he just didn't set his resolution well. Also the "P2W" part of the game is not existent anymore, u can perfectly grind ur way to cap without spending a single euro/ dollar though
I loved Last Chaos and my father and cousins, and I all used to play it daily for a few years. I stopped playing when they changed the guild exp tithe to only allow 50%...it made it impossible to farm sp and it was so painful. Still listen to the soundtrack though as some of the music is top tier.
OH MY GOD! The moment you said the words Last Chaos I had some core memory unlocked I remember playing this back when it came out for like a couple months. It was actually pretty decent for the time but I haven't heard anything since. Hilarious 😅
I remember playing Last Chaos when I was a teen! That sends me back. I remember it was optimized to grind for skill points instead of exp in early level. There used to be an exp lock button to help with that so you wouldnt ruin your skill point farm by leveling up. But when I played they has already adjusted the exp lock to 50% so you would gain exp slower but still gain exp. Never had a game incentivize not leveling up before lol. This was when I played on 2008ish IDK how it is now. I played the dual sword knight.
"Requiem: Desiderium Mortis." When I played it was called "Requiem: Momento Mori" then I think "Rise of The Reaver" and was called "Bloodymare" when it was released? A free to play horror mmorpg that was truly a LOT of fun. Even when I played there was a bit of an item mall issue starting... but the actual game was sooo much fun. I'd love to see a Waydot impression of my first MMO lol
I'm actually one of those players who still plays Last Chaos from time to time and have been playing since 2008. The UI issue is the same as Milmo, the UI is made for 'modern' resolutions while the game still defaults to 800x600 or so.
Knight online was really fun but also super buggy lol. I tried going back to it a few times, but the game was overrun by bots sadly. It felt like a promising game
Because my reflexes have slowed in my older age (55) I tend to enjoy turn-based games more than I used to. I like planning my attacks and carrying out group actions without having to be a speedy button clicker.
I checked your channel and I couldn't find if you have covered it or not but you should check out "DDO" or "Dungeons and Dragons Online". It was basically a WoW clone in the DND universe and has some funny dialogue and a great world feel. I would suggest a game called Eldevin. It is sort of like Runescape if it was a MMORPG. It will have game mechanics that will remind you of several other games and the skill crafting mechanics are very in depth. The game was buried on arrival as it spent years in development Hell trying to find somebody to produce the game. By the time it came out, it was already years behind the competition, and looked dated. It has a dwindling population, but some very loyal, hardcore players. There are some clever level designs to be had in dungeons and such.
