Love this song and how you focused on little moments like Isak's breath and Even's hesitance, and how the lyrics apply to both Isak's fears about his sexuality and Even's fears about his mental illness, but how they find comfort in each other. Very well put together and edited video, as always, and I love love love it and will definitely watch probably a billion times. Words can't even describe how well you are able to capture a feeling. just rewatched this video again for like the millionth time and the way you edited together the video to fit the themes of the song is just sooo close to me because its so hard loving someone when you have a mental illness because you're always doubting yourself and hurting them (or thinking your hurting them) and think they'd be better off.....i think i'll rewatch this video till the end of time because your editing style and skam and dodie together is a recipe for emotions and tears

I have absolutely no words to describe what I felt watching this. The editing in this is so soft and magical and the way you used the very subtle audio from the show to just enhance that magical feeling, it felt so peaceful and simple and WARM??? I can't fully articulate what I mean to say with regards to this video but it is breathtakingly beautiful and the end part with all the smiles was done to perfection and left me feeling so happy and fuzzy by the end of this video.

You have put the things I love most together and made a fucking work of art out of it. I love how you put in the smallest details- when they breathe for a moment, the way their hair gets messy in a cute way when they're so close and holding the other. The song was perfect and I love how the entirety of this video focused on both Isak and Even's point of view, and how each moment, whether afraid of uncertainty, or possible anxiety, still came down to the way you captured how much they really love each other. That is fucking beautiful. This is art.

I've been saving this to watch because I wasn't ready for more brilliance, hah, I was RIGHT to get prepared. ❤ I'm so happy that you picked this tone for a video, I feel like it was reflective of the show itself? Skam covers some really deep and sometimes dark themes but it's such a good-hearted and good-humored show, you think of it almost lighter than it is. The skipping, sweet way this song has about it really fits, "we'll laugh away the fear", exactly! Also, when you decide to do it, you're amaaaazing at playing with sound! The ambient noise added SO much depth and cleverness (the knock on the window interrupting them! the bike wheel! the footsteps from mekke øl were devastating! that exhale! embarrassingly enough, I really liked the kissing sounds!). I'm obsessed with how well some of the lyrics work too, like "you create a rarity of my genuine smile" and "I've pinned each and every hope on you, I hope that you don't bleed with me" and "I'm afraid of things in my brain" with THOSE Even faces and the vibrating phone... wow. Plus, the POV shift... I really like how you structured that too because it mirrored the show, with Even's repeat chorus being even softer and sadder. Felt just like his arc. :( And apparently I'm still unprepared for S4 footage blending in because I saw that first shot and was ready to CRY. I'm sure I'll build up a tolerance but it's not there yET.

sorry to reply late to this! been bad at keeping up with comments lately (also i just didn't know what to say to this because it honestly left me speechless). i love this song because it has a light, almost whimsical quality to it, but with very serious undertones - felt very fitting for these two and you're right, skam in general! i'm so glad you enjoyed all those little elements, this felt like sort of a different video than previous evak vids i've done so all the positive reception i've been receiving has been absolutely amazing. this comment in particular, as i said, has blown me away! i really appreciate you taking the time to write this all. it means so much. thank you.
