Kinda cool how the game went so long with such large empires and even still they eventually broke up. Closest iv'e ever seen the ai to doing a wc too
Yeah I thought a WC was on the cards at one point, then when I checked in a few hours later, all was collapsed
The problem is that The AI maybe would be able to WC but it would Last like 2 seconds
Well atleast almost all the world became 1 religion exept europe

7:30 the collapse of the Mongols in 4500 CE was pretty interesting tbh, like imagine living in that timeline of permanent feudalism and the guys who take up the mantle of the ancient Khan end up uniting most of the map for a millennium

It’s crazy how robust the game/AI is. That the game can simulate that long and still not be able to have 1 empire completely take over the map is really amazing

7:29 Wow the mongol empire has been around since the mideveal times and it has the biggest explosion ive ever seen in a late-game timelapse. Very interesting video. I wonder what lead to that event. Thousands of years of being the largest empire. Btw Mongol Empire was eaten by Cairo and Cairo probably took the title. So mongol Empire is really a successor to Cairo Empire.

That was rly cool. how big was the file size of the video?
I stopped it several times to break it into multiple videos, ended up with 5. 3 where around 8gb, one was 15gb and the other 18gb

This game would be better if it didn't take so long to get to a point where you can change the succession laws in a meaningful way.
just more control over the laws of ur realm in general would be nice. im a queen why cant i make decrees lol
There's a lot of work arounds around succession and I think it kinda balances the game. It would be way too easy if you could just establish a stable heir succession before development which stabilizes cultures and religions in a certain area. You can spread your culture and religion super quickly early on which further helps with realm stability. Establishing primogeniture early on would just mean there's no important rebellions.

i assume they used the Become Greatest of Khans decision, it require a bit of work, like being in the Tengriism faith and having the Realm capital is in the Steppe region, but its totally worth it

There was absolute chaos in the of east Europe, africa and Asian as when the mongols collapsed in 4501 there was a huge power vacuum left over by all the small states, they all hopes to claim to be the third mongol horde. So they all went to war trying to reclaim old territories of the Mongol Empire.

You can select in the game options that there won't be an end date. This disables achievements though.
