The Pykes were established in the various animated series(especially Bad Batch) as NOTHING you want to mess with. The Hutts keep respectful boundaries with them. They are very calm, but ruthless and cunning to the point brutality means nothing as long as they maintain their operations.
Boba is however establishing his "court". Fennec, 8D8, His Gamorreans, his Swoop Gang, a Rancor with keeper. He just needs a sniveling Twi'Lek and badass....hmm two things that have both popped up.
I think Krrsantan owes Boba something....maybe something you'd call...a Life Debt.
Boba already pointed out the Hutts obvious plan, let two rivals wipe each other out then get rid of the weakened survivor.
how many decades has it been? people are still trusting the Hutts? how naive

Machete has a Rancor now - It is the most badass thing I took out from that episode, and Krrsantan making the move.)))

The female tusken warrior wasnt shown in the massacre of the tusken camp, which leads me to believe that she survived, and will most likely show up in another episode 🤔

There was like 2 banthas and 5 tuskens dead.. Not sure if it was meant to be like their whole village was taken out?.. Teenage biker gang arc is just stupid, rather watch more tusken back story.

When Krrsantan was throwing the punches that had the blue sparks on impact, he was using his cybernetic implants. He has "fighting knuckles" he volunteered to have implanted when he volunteered for the Gladiator Pits. he was FULLY AWAKE and CONSCIOUS when he had the implantation surgery.
Thanks again, Mr. and Mrs. Cavazos. The moral of this episode is, 'If you talk _dank_ , you must back it up'.
The last rancor must've formed a bond with its handler that worked under Jabba in Return of the Jedi. I know the handler himself was saddened over that Rancor's demise after Luke killed it.
I know it's not canon, but there's an exceptional fan film called Birth of a Monster I consider head canon for Jabba's old Handler.

I started to get a little misty when he put the chieftain's Gaffi stick on the fire, but when he put the kids stick in, I actually broke down. 😭 Amazing how they made us care about the Tuskens in just a couple of episodes.

Boba mentioning himself riding creatures ten times the size of the rancor is a callback to the Star Wars Holiday Special, where he rode a Paar's ichtyodont. The orange and yellow fruits are meiloorun fruit seen in Star Wars Rebels. A fruit that's a particular favourite of Hera Syndulla. I was pleasantly surprised to see Danny Trejo as a rancor keeper. I won't be surprised if some machete appears in upcoming episodes as a callback.
Rancor training was the best part. Hope "it" and other favors Fett has given will come useful in last episode! 🤘
I can see Bo Katan showing up or Din D'jaran (Mandalorian) because Jon or Dave could surprise us like they did with Ep. 8 2nd season of Mandalorian

I was today years old when I realized I absolutely NEED a bright blue Speeder Bike.
I think the story is working its way to the "Shadow Collective", that once was headed by Darth Maul. With Q'ira in the shadows, this could do a lot for the overall picture.
The Hutt council was decimated by Darth Vader, so I think that's why the Twins are backing off so easily. They thought they had an easy claim, but now that the stakes are higher, they don't wanna burn their fingers, tail or whatever proverbial Hutt body part.
We will see this wookie back. They don't like to have debts. Him attacking Boba in his bacta tank was something forewarned in the last episode when the twin warned him to sleep lightly.
I think episode 4 will be of the same length as no 3, but 5, 6 and 7 are going to be action packed but look out for the female Tusken ninja.
I think that the syndicates are operating on their own terms. They owe no allegiance to the once Shadow Collective by Darth Mail.

I almost feel like we're on the final confrontation already, which is the war with the Pykes Syndicate (I mean they already arrive on Tattooine so it's just a matter of time), but then I remember there's still five more episodes to come so there's a lot of stuff also waiting to come. Maybe the Pykes are not alone? Maybe they also work with another familiar syndicate? Who knows
I feel like it’ll be a massive multi side gang war between Boba’s crew, the Pykes, the Hutts, and maybe a few other syndicates. I also feel like there’s a chance the New Republic will finally get involved on Tattooine to put an end to the gang war and will show up led by a certain smuggler Boba has history with…

The four new characters are awesome. Since this is a Robert Rodriquez piece, its fitting to see cybernetics in this. They looked like they could have come from the awesome movie Alita Battle Angel; which by the way is also a Robert Rodriquez piece. The success of Boba is going to green light our beloved Cybergirl.

I had been afraid that the Tusken tribe had been wiped out, especially after the second episode. They seem like they would be big supports of Boba and he has been short handed with just Fennec, a pair of Gamorreans, and a few droids, yet he hasn't seemed to hire any of them.
I get the feeling the Pykes talked to the Nikto raiders first and tasked them with wiping out the Tuskens, but did so in such a way they could cover their own asses should the Tuskens come out on top in this conflict, informing them of the conflicting claims on the territory. I get the feeling it won't matter much to them if they end up paying the same amount ether way.
I also suspect that the Twins will honor their word to the letter. They are likely leaving the planet for the time being while they wait for this to blow over, but they might of left someone behind to keep them in the loop. They wouldn't take Black Krrsantan back because that would require them to relinquish any claim they had on Tatooine, Jabba's slice of it anyway. I suspect they still want it but aren't willing to fight a war on two fronts to claim it, especially if they don't have any investments in it yet.

My only gripe about this series is.....can Boba stop taking his helmet off in potentially dangerous situations? There's a dang dent in it too. Meaning it saved his life at least once. Learn from Mando goddamn it.

I miss Mando! I hope there will be a third season soon.
I can somehow sense this show doing 2 storylines simultaneously. One in the past that shows how Boba Fett, over time, gets to the scene where he finds Mando with his armor from Mandalorian and then one in the present where we see him being threatened by other gangs and him trying to muster up his own gang, hopefully with Krssantan and some other OG characters like Bossk and Dengar, to try and regain control on Tatooine. I also hope that after he deals with the Pykes and his flashbacks eventually reach the point where he spots his armor with Mando, in the final shot of the Finale, Cad Bane enters the palace and takes a sharp look at Boba Fett and just says: ''Boba Fett..." *tips his hat* "...we have some unfinished business." and then the season ends.

There are 4 Crime syndicate in Star Wars.
The top one is the Crimson Dawn(from Solo) and and considering the timeline Qi’Ra most likely leads the syndicate right now(we might see Emilia Clarke again and might some redemption after Soileau). The Hutt Cartel is number 2 and they control Hutt space and they can live for thousands of years and they are immune to Jedi mind tricks(as shown in the OT) Black Sun is the third one and they have been shown in Clone Wars and mentioned dozens of times in the other platforms and they deal mostly in weapons and lastly are the Pykes they are the weakest among the syndicates. But they are some people they are not to be messed with and they mostly deal in spice and the Pykes are moving on Jabba’s Territory and the twins ever announce their claim so it is open season for whoever to take it.
As for Boba his family is growing he now has Fennac, his Gammoran Guards, A Mos Espa Swoop Gang and a Calf Rancor(even a calf is equivalent to a small army) and I hope Boba recruits Black Krrsantan(he is a literal unit, a Madclaw) and very ferocious you saw what happened and maybe Boba can call in a “life debt.”
Also if you watched any film or TV show when they show a character get wounded and they Stanley vanish and there’s nobody that usually means that they’re still alive and we saw the several Tuskans bodies including the Chieftain. But the female badass Tuskan wasn’t shown so until they produce a body she is not dead.

George Lucas created a universe and it is tapestry of many stories to be told(Kennedy fucked that up with the sequel trilogy) and both Jon and Dave F are taking Star Wars back.

The Book Of Boba Fett; Chapter Three ...
Daimyo is a Japanese term referring to feudal lords governing districts under The Shogun.
The Twin Hutts being lifted everywhere on a litter by a group of slaves is symbolic of ancient civilizations; whereby royalty and wealthy noblemen were carried on wooden litters by slaves such as in Egypt, Mesopotamia, Cimerria, Persia, China, etc.
It is meant to command respect of those around them as well as indicating their status and privilege.
The reason why Boba Fett wishes to transition from a bounty hunter to a crime lord is tied to his father: Jango Fett.
The flashback of Jango’s decapitation at the purple lightsaber of Jedi Master: Mace Windu on Geonosis profoundly impacted Boba.
Boba knew if he continued along this path, his fate will be no different than Jango’s.
Along the way, the massacre of his Tusken Raider tribe @ Sandpeople help strengthened his resolve to takeover Tatooine as its crime lord and rule by respect instead of fear as demonstrated by his predecessor: Jabba The Hutt.
His experience with Tatooine’s native tribe is reminiscent of Kevin Costner’s “Dances With Wolves” (1990).
I’m hoping Doctor Chelli Aphra the archaeologist from Star Wars Comics shall make her first live-action appearance soon.
The fact that Black Krrsantan the fearsome Wookiee bounty hunter was not punish by Boba after attempting to murder him; means that he’ll return the favor by acting as Boba’s loyal bodyguard in the next episode onwards - just like Fennec Shand.
The other scene I’m predicting is that Boba will eventually ride his pet cub Rancor into battle against his enemies.

Also there is a desimenation of what criminal empire does what. The Hutts are more or less a widespread smuggling ring. Weapons, information, and yes drugs, but mainly they maintain their empire on caste status. Which Hutt can achieve the most power and wealth. In 2022 it's not a good look, but the Hutts were HUGE into slave trading. The Klatoonian, Nikto, and Weequay were essentially societies based on Hutt slave trading as they perceive the Hutts in an almost godlike status.
The Pykes are all about Spice trade, and the bottom line financially. No compromise, you run spice for the Pykes, you deliver and you get paid, and get to live.
Black Sun is an odd outlier, dealing in multiple criminal activities but more known for assassinations and hired guns to do dirty work, as well as being loan sharks.
The negatives outweigh the positives right now. The Rodriguez episodes have been subpar, only episode 2 was decent. I'll watch the rest eventually, but it's no longer a must-see for me on Wednesdays.

Not sure what to make of the teen biker gang yet. I liked their droid parts and how they used them but I can’t really take their bikes seriously with their speed and colors.
Love how they didn’t waste time getting Black Krrasantan in on the action and how they translated his savagery to the screen.

People are complaining about the speed but the streets they were riding in were pretty narrow and short, I’d go about that speed if I were chasing someone. They’d go faster if It were a wide open field or desert
in the last episode, the biker gang dude sprayed 2 Huttese "k's" graffiti on the moisture farmers house. It was found out that it was an insult to Kathleen Kennedy losing Star Wars power. Faviloni is the best.
Coming off the train takeover, the speeders here looked a little slow and too shiny for a dust planet. I mean guy flipped off the bike one time looking like 10 MPH. other than that I enjoyed the episode and can't wait for more! I wish the Rancor was Moochi but Bib already had Moochi so we shall see. Boba's got to get Black K. He is amazing! And I hope the Tuskan that trained Boba is still alive.

I hate to break this to you guys, but ALL the Tuskens were killed in the raid. If you watch the funeral scene, Boba throws three sticks onto the fire. One is the leader, the second is the "female" tusken's, and the final one is the younglings staff. You may not see the bodies, but Tuskens wouldn't abandon their gaffi sticks.

The Vespa Rangers are too Disney to me. Their aesthetic is way off. The ep, was also too short (budget needed for the finale?) More could have been added to the backstory and BK should have mauled them like a grizzly. Can't wait for Rancor justice though.
I share some thoughts with you definitely. This EP was probably a little under developed because of the finale needing a lot of budget, and the vespa rangers should definitely just have had dirty gray and rusty colors, not shiny color like they had.
They look like something out of Cyberpunk. I'm not a fan either.

Yes it was choppy, im thinking its because theyre saving the budget for the finale 🤔 (where they hopefully use a lot of budget on he fighting).
I think the main budget is for the last three episodes because they said that those are going to be crazy as fook.

Tbh, this episode had a lot of ups and downs.
Up: Rancor and his Trainer is Machete
Down: Hipster-Gang of cyborg kids with hover scooters, which are just recruited by Boba Fett to please the SJW. Come on, he wants to build a Criminal Empire and he gets people who look like they came straight from the set of West Side Story.
Up: Black Krrsantan attacks.
Down: was able to beat the crap out of Chewbacca, Obi Wan and many more. Now looses his signature move to beat up some cyborg kids with their own arms, after he ripped them off.
Up: no more dancing with the wolf, because someone slaughtered the men, the women and the children too.
How do we bolster Boba’s gang? We give him a biker gang made up of characters from Cyberpunk 2077, a new pet Rancor, and have the trainer be played by Danny Trejo!!!

Yup, this is probably the worst episode by far. I agree the it felt like the gang was disneyfied and didn't fit in the environment at all. Disney should stay the fuck away from Star Wars.
However, I'm not saying it's bad, just saying there are parts that are forgettable. This feels like a build up episode. I did like the Krsantan part, sad about the Tuskens and excited about the Rancor. Has it bonded with Boba? I sure hope so.
